Golden Sands

The apartment is very central and exactly as described. The view from the living room is absolutely stunning. The weather was a bit too windy during our stay to make much use of the balcony, but we enjoyed looking out over the East Strand all the way to Dunluce Castle. It was the perfect place for us. The kitchen is well equipped, again, just as described. We enjoyed our stay!

Easy to access lock box storing keys which allowed us to access apartment quick and easily at a time convenient to us. The whole apartment was perfect with the view over East Strand beach.

The view obviously sells itself with this beautiful balcony. But the rest of the little details in this let are what made it homely and a great place to stay. Jo messaged to make sure everything was ok at the apartment, which was a really nice touch. We were also lucky enough to have a slightly earlier check in. We often rent apartments and this has far exceeded any rentals we have had before. All condiments were there, oil, margarine, salt & pepper, ice, tin foil, cereal, washing up liquid, coffee pods, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, chargers, hairdryer. The list goes on, done provided from Jo but we were able to leave behind non perishables and previous guests had done the same. We especially loved the board games in the apartment on the one rainy day we had. The walks on the coastal path to Dunluce castle was breathtaking and all accessible on your doorstep. We fell in love with Portrush on our last visit, now we wouldn't want to spend it in any other apartment. Thank you Jo for allowing us to rent your home and for providing a truly personal experience.

There's nothing not to like

The picture doesn't do it justice of how beautiful the place is. Right in the centre of Portrush, so brilliant for walking around and going to the beach. Made it extra special (if you're up early enough) to see dolphins playing in the bay from the balcony!

We found the apartment had a bad smell when you opened the apartment door, there's some building work in the hallway so that might have something to do with it, otherwise everything was fine and we had a lovely stay

The veiw was Amazing, Jo was very helpful if & when needed her. Very comfortable and has everything we needed.. very good location, not even 5 mins from the beach, bakery & restaurant.. definitely planning to come back as a family.
