Nice location, close to the lakes, beautiful big green garden

We texted the host a few hours before arrival, telling them that we were supposed to arrive around 10 p.m. A few minutes later, I received a text message saying that the check-in hours are between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and that for check-ins after 8 p.m. there would be a €10 late check-in charge. I was disappointed to see that message! I have never encountered this kind of fee at any other accommodation. About an hour before arrival, I called to let the lady who was checking us in know that we were on our way. Shortly after I hung up, she texted me: “I think you already know and received a message that late arrivals after 8 p.m. will incur an additional €10 fee because the house is exclusively for guests, and I have to come to check you in and accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding.” The explanation we received at the property upon arrival was that the host supposedly needed to offer us a tour and show us around, and that “it is late, I have two kids at home, you know, and so on.” There was nothing complicated that could not have been explained through specific instructions via text and photos. Around the house there is nothing but a playground and a beautiful garden; our room was on the first floor , literally, you walk up the stairs and there it is. It is not about the money, 10€ is not a lot but the gesture was the most disappointing part. It felt like a tourist trap for a moment. Clear communication of such a policy before booking would have been appreciated. The apartment itself was modest but fine for one night given the price, though we would not choose to return.

No hi ha cafetera i no funcionava algun llum no essencial ni la campana extractora.

Great location, close to the lakes, decently sized room, well-equipped kitchen although we didn't use it. We were there barely for a night. We had issues with our car, so we arrived quite late, but thankfully the host allowed us to check in by handing over our keys to our friends who managed to arrive before us, of course after verifying our ID documents on WhatsApp. It also had a washing machine and a drying line stand, and iron board as well. There's also a nice restaurant just about 100 metres from the Apartment block.

The Wi-Fi (WAS FREE AS PART OF THE BOOKING) was pathetic. But apart from that it was nothing to complain about. A decent place to stay to explore the national park.
