The nature around the property was amazing.

The stairs and the property did not having a big pot or a chopping board. The beds were not up to standard as well . Overall everything else was good. The property is not on the beach.

The antique furniture was breath taking and different. The swimming and river view was very beautiful. The host went an extra mile to make us comfortable

The security gate at the door was broken and removed which unsettled us from a security perspective. The advert about the property on Booking.com speaks to this place being a beachfront property. Unfortunately this is misleading as the property is nowhere near. The ceiling fans are loose and are "half-falling" as they circulate. Promptly on arrival after 21h00, I reported the issue of unbearable cigarette smoke throughout the flat, even though the flat is advertised as non-smoking (and we are strict non-smokers for health reasons). The owner acknowledged the smell too as she was at the flat earlier in the day. I reported the matter throughout the night and also at the next morning. Nothing was done by the owner except to be told that we should consider opening the windows and fans. As a result of our discomfort, we only slept one night of the booked three (four hours of which were spent outside for better breathing) and had to leave due to child's difficulty in breathing and our sneezing from the cigarette smoke. We reported our need to depart early as a result but was told we need to take our matter up with Booking.com. I've written two memos to Booking.com but have not received feedback. It is unfortunate that I have to strongly condemn the way our host handled us and would not recommend this place to anyone.
