Seaside Apartment

The location is excellent, at the East Cliff end of Ramsgate and only one street back from the sea, the bed was very comfy, and the bedroom was a decent size with plenty of hanging space and drawers. The sitting room had a lovely L-shaped sofa which was very comfy and a small 2-person dining table which I used as my desk - I didn't use the telly, but it was a big wide flatscreen job. The bathroom was small but compact and pleasant, likewise the kitchen - little treats in both those rooms, though I didn't actually use them, it was nice to know they were there. The owner recommended Peter's Fish Bar near the harbour, which I believe is excellent, but I found Ramsgate Fish and Chips a short walk away on Victoria Road and that was magnificent; I also had a lovely breakfast on the second and final morning at Baker Street Cafe which is part of the Petticoat Lane Emporium, an excellent vintage marketplace, an even shorter walk away. Parking is plentiful and free (at the time of writing) on the surrounding streets. The owner was very communicative and helpful through text message, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good location, walking distance to restaurants and local attractions. Comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Great communication from the host.

We weren't sure what to expect for the price, but the apartment exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable, spacious, clean and nicely furnished with some nice extra touches. Parking was easy on the road outside.

Clean and accurate photos

No dryer and no ability to dry clothes so the washing machine was useless. Impossible to take luggage upstairs and not easy to find local parking

Soundproofing between the flats. 2 out of the 3 nights was woken in early hours of the night by downstairs flat's TV. Also the child running around. Was also concerned about fire safety. If there had been a fire downstairs we would not have got out. Don't recall seeing fire extinguishers
