Stadswoning Roermond

The building is part of an attractive row of buildings in an attractive street close to the old town. High double doors from the street open into a wide foyer leading to the ground floor apartment. Its a long and lovely space running from the lounge room at the street end and back and through a kitchen past the laundry and 2nd toilet, the main bathroom and a daybed area to the two bedrooms at the other end, both opening onto the private courtyard. The rooms with soaring ceilings are all spacious and nicely decorated. There is no road noise behind double glazed windows in the lounge room. We met Ad, the owner who lives nearby, and is very helpful. The whole place is charming and has a well equiped kitchen, central heating, inc a towel rack in the bathroom, and a dishwasher and washing machine. We enjoyed our three night stay there.

There was some noise (conversation and furniture moving around noises) from the accomodation directly above the bedroom. This kept us awake one late night and one early morning.

Location was very close to the centre. Apartment was large with high ceilings and a lovely secluded small terrace at the back of the property.

Very good location and central to shops, cafes & restaurants. A very comfortable base from which to explore Roermond.

A little concerned that the owner came in to the apartment on a couple of occasions during the week when we weren't there.

Great location near the bus and train station. Nice, clean and spacious accomodation. Very kind and welcoming host explain everything about the accomodation and the city. Fully equiped modern kitchen and cleaning equipment. Very comfortable sitting area and garden.

A little bit further away from the shopping area and designer outlet, but still manageable by walking.

A beautiful, spacious, clean, centrally located apartment, extremely kind host, supermarket nearby, near to city center and outlet center.

Very clean and well presented. There was also a lovely little courtyard to enjoy the late summer evenings.

They are only minor issues, but the property could have benefited from a toaster and microwave oven.
