My Place

La posizione ottima per visitare il Parco Archeologico e l'isola di Ortigia. L'appartamento è molto grande e comodo, con due bagni e possibilità di utilizzo della lavatrice. Il proprietario, Dario, è molto cortese e a disposizione per qualsiasi richiesta.

L'ascensore del condominio è difettoso, ma non è certo colpa del proprietario. Nell'appartamento una camera è senza condizionatore, ma si può benissimo dormire sul divano letto del soggiorno (munito di aria condizionata), molto comodo.

My wife, my two kids, and I spent 9 nights at My Place, in Siracusa. The experience was excellent. It is only a few blocks away (walking distance) from the Parco Archeologico Neapolis (Greek theatre etc.) and 10 minutes from Ortigia (historic center). It is a large, spacious apartment 2-room apartment, very clean and silent. Everything worked perfectly (a fully equipped kitchen, the washing machine, the showers, the air-conditionings, the wi-fi, the TV). The 2 bathrooms are particularly spacious. You can park for free around the building, full of parking spots, which is a big plus (it is very difficult to find a parking spot in Siracusa). There is a very good supermarket 3 minutes away (also, walking distance if you don’t carry heavy bags). Our host, Dario, was very kind to us and immediately responded to our questions. He even offered a boat trip around Ortigia at a discount price. We will certainly stay at “My Place” in future trips to Sicily and strongly recommend it to visitors.

The elevator is very small, it can accommodate only 2 people (or one person with luggage).

Beautifully designed & decorated modern apartment in a block. virtually all appliances were brand new & functioning. Quiet area at night but bustling in the day time.

the small lift going up to the 4th apartment. it worked but it wasn’t easy for me to operate. the 2 balconies had no outside furniture or plants. in my opinion it would be rated 10 if it had. I had a 2 week stay & I think a maid should have come 4 times in a 14 period. i needed to request a cleaner during my stay & had a pay a supplement.

- Extremely spacious apartment as showed in the pictures. - Clean. - Living room and bedrooms are nicely decorated. - Very comfortable matrasses in all the beds.

- Noisy apartment. it is Located in an area with an extremely high density of traffic that is clearly heard from inside, despite some efforts to mitigate the issue i.e. doubled-glass windows. Conversations from neighbours can also be heard. - There is no private parking place (usually it is not a problem to find a spot in the street; we only have problems once). We used this feature to filter our search and this property was still listed. - Not in a walking distance to Ortygia (30-40 min walk through streets with a lot of traffic).
