Noisey. Basement flat. Floor boards creaked from above People shouting outside. Felt like everything you do could be heard. Boiler noisey. Thought private parking.

I was doing a 50 mile challenge walk from St Edmund's Church, Roundhay. I only managed 35 miles because I slipped in some mud in the dark on an uneven path and hurt my right elbow, so only got to Alwoodley Cricket Ground. The place was ideal for my needs being self-contained. It was very clean. Plenty of shops nearby. The owner was very nice to me on my arrival.

A tea towel instead of a facecloth would be better for drying the cups, etc. Also if more than one person was in there, then a small drop down leaf table with two fold-up chairs would make the place better for eating. At the moment, one could eat from the desk in the apartment but the other person would have to eat off their knee. This is not criticism, it's just a suggestion. You can get tables like this from Ikea and the like. I will probably come back to it next year to have another bash at the walk.
