Casa di Ortigia

La casa è a 200 mt dal mare...spettacolo! L'host è stata gentilissima e mi ha permesso di entrare in casa prima del previsto ... veramente carina!!)

Le scale sono un po' ripide ma è una caratteristica di tutte le case di Ortigia

The location was great! In the heart of the old town, near the sea and all amenities. Great communication with the owners. The neighbours. There was a small balcony looking over a small court yard, which we enjoyed as the neighbors were very friendly.

Difficulties accessing the property in the first place. A detailed description of where to pull the gate to open, i.e., near the key whole, would have helped. The key box was difficult to open in the first instance. Also one 🔑 in key box for the flats door only. Quick and helpful response was offered. Communication via WhatsApp was quick and efficient. There are steep and narrow stairs up to the front door, which may pose a problem for those with mobility or age related issues. On entry, we were diassapointed at how dated the property looked. If you like Pine, then you're fine. Furthermore, there were steps up to both bedrooms. One of which had particularly narrow steps, which meant my friend could not take her luggage up them. The shower was not powerful enough.

The owner of the property Luciana, was really amazing! lovely people and lovely house , was like at home. I’ll come back.
