My stay in the accommodation near Ortigia was really great. I easily found the location, and the self check-in process was quick and hassle-free, which immediately left me with a good impression. Everything was literally within easy reach – restaurants, a pharmacy... The sea and two nearby beaches are very close, so it was really easy to escape for a quick refresh and some time out from the heat. The apartment is decorated in a traditional Syracusan style and has everything for a comfortable stay. What I liked most was being right in the center of everything, while still having a quiet atmosphere in the evening, so I could relax and sleep well without any noise. All in all, a very pleasant experience in Siracusa – a great mix of convenience, comfort, and peace whenever I needed a break.

Not good water pressure but understand it’s an old building. Only 1 tea bag and no instant coffee.

Die Lage mitten in den Gassen der schönen Altstadt und zugleich nah am Meer ist ideal (besonders spät abends und am Morgen, wenn nicht so viele Touristen da sind). Außerdem fühlt man sich in dem authentischen Appartement fast wie ein „richtiger“ Sizilianer. Man kann auch mal selbst kochen und sich am Tag von dem Trubel ringsherum zurückziehen. Der Preis, den ich für fünf Tage Ende April bezahlt habe, war sehr vorteilhaft.

Ich fand die Matratze etwas hart, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Hab trotzdem gut geschlafen und sogar bei offenem Fenster, weil es draußen ruhig war. Dürfte in der Hochsaison vielleicht anders sein.

Amazing location and a decently good setup for a few days in Ortigia. Good communication with the host.

Not very clean on arrival, but also not terribly dirty. Just some dust bunnies & the sort. Beware of the washing machine - it ruined all of my whites 😅 Table and chairs are not super comfortable for working on your laptop, so take note if you’re a remote worker!

Very centrally located just behind the Cathedral. Very close to amenities, restaurants and the sea. Very well equipped including a washing machine and very comfortable bed. Host was always at hand if we needed anything. I will book it again if we revisit Ortigia.

A localização é excelente, em lugar central de Ortigia, mas sossegado. O espaço é grande e acomodou-nos bem. Há um estacionamento privado em frente, o que facilita muito as coisas para quem chega de carro. Foi possível até fazer refeição, pois há fogão, geladeiras e utensílios de cozinha. Cafeteira e chaleira elétricas também. A comunicação com o anfitrião foi fácil e tranquila.

Como sempre, contudo, algumas coisas podem melhorar, para tornar a hospedagem nota 10. Destaco duas coisas: a cama range demais a ponto de incomodar o sono, e os utensílios de cozinha precisam ser melhor lavados.

This location is in a good location to explore Ortigia. Our host helped us by answering our requests for help as visitors. It was especially appreciated when we had a major health crisis. She was helpful in sorting things out.

The bidet was not usable.

Perfekt läge med huvudgatan i Ortigia och nöjeslivet precis runt hörnet. Bara några minuters promenad till badstrand(sten). Använde inte gasspisen, fanns mikro och vattenkokare samt en kaffesmaskin. Trevlig charmig lägenhet, bara 1 trappa upp. Bra badrum. Sängen var helt ok, inte sådär otäckt hård som en del ställen har. Jag var ensam, men ryms 2 vuxna med tex 2 barn. Kommer gärna tillbaka!

I hela Ortigia är det gamla avlopp, så man måste lägga toapapper i påse (som i Grekland) Jag hade tur med sophämtning 2 gånger under min vistelse, så fick ut påsarna.

Lovely cute and quirky apartment in the most fabulous location, central to everywhere you want to visit in Ortigia. Host very kindly allowed an early check-in and communication with the hosts was clear and easy. We really appreciated the plentiful coffee and other supplies along with the microwave, washing machine and detergent.

The sofa bed cushions had a tendency to slide off and the bed squeaked a lot. If the bed and sofa were replaced it would make a massive difference to this property. It would also have been a bonus if there was a toaster, however we had a comfortable stay and wouldn’t let these minor details deter anyone from booking this lovely apartment for a short stay.
