Suncot Apartment

Location good as above the town so quiet. Bed was very comfortable, beautiful linen and pillows. Lovely towels and dressing gowns. Excellent shower. Comfortable outdoor furniture . Nice balcony with views.

Very steep hill to drive in or to walk up from town. No where to hang coats or put bags,no coffee table or somewhere to put drinks. Needed hangers behind doors and chair or dressing table in bedroom. Some pictures on walls would be good.

lovely spacious , will all the amenities you need. some lovely extras from the owners . crisp clean linen etc

We liked all this apartment had to offer there was nothing we did it like

Suncot was a fabulous apartment in Salcombe just a few hundred metres from the town centre with great views over Salcombe and the harbour. It was spotlessly clean and Helen made it very easy for us to find as we walking the South West Coast Path. The kitchen was well equipped so we could buy food from the Co-op just down the road and eat on the balcony.

-Great location from the village , only a few moments walk -very clean and had everything you needed -very comfortable bed -welcome gifts were a lovely bonus-thank you

-steep incline for walking but only steep for short time but probably not suitable for those with mobility issues - parking slightly awkward because of the slope but actually not a problem. We had an electric vehicle and couldn't go up and reverse but going forward works fine. Shouldn't forget that many properties in the area dont have parking at all so this is a real bonus

Mouldy silicon seals around shower tray. We were given 2 bath towels for a 7 day stey and no washing powder- it was provided on request. The constant reminders of end of stay cleaning. Lack of bathroom toiletries, such as body wash although stated on details.

It’s nice accommodation practically in the heart of the town and with beautiful views. Suncot had everything we need for comfortable stay including nice welcoming from owners with the chips, tea and coffee and bottle of milk that was more than we expected. The apartment was clean and well equipped.

For one of us the beds were too low due to mobility problems. And parking was a bit tricky due to very steep driveway.
