Massimiliano is a great host, very responsive, easy to communicate and helpful. The apartment is located in a walking distance to main attractions in Ortigia and many nice restaurants near by. The fish market next street in the morning is an experience in itself. The apartment is spacious and well equipped.

It is mentioned that there is a free parking, but it is a public parking and you would need to spend hours hunting for a spot. We ended using a paid in a walking distance. We managed to find a spot although it might be tough in a high season. It is not a problem of the apartment, but rather booking.com allowing to mark places having parking, although it is not guaranteed. There were no shower gel, shampoo when we arrived and toilet paper just for one day. We bought everything at the shop.

Location was great. Really central to attractions. Apartment well furnished amd spacious and felt like it was in a safe part of town. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Our host Massimilliano was really helpful. Gave us some really good tips of where to visit amd was always responsive if we had a query

Was quite noisy at weekends as a few bars had live music til midnight amd early glass collections in the morning. Possibly anywhere that’s central May be the same. Balcony amd top roof space unusable really and we’d picked it as had outside space.struggled a bit with the front door as there’s definitely a knack to it. No cleaning service available which may not be an issue if you’re only there a few days.

The location was excellent for visiting the old part of the city, a large, renovated apartment with all the necessary elements for a stay, close to free parking, the host was very kind, he was very dedicated to give us as much information as possible about what and where to see and visit.

The location is excellent, but it is a bit noisier on weekends, recommendation to the host to change the disinfectant because the apartment has a strange smell when you enter the apartment.

Accessibility - narrow and step staircases and front door very hard to use. Very old and little run down, oven rusted, kitchen tap taped up, roof top terrace not useable.

The most ideal choice for exploring the city due to its central location!

Massimo is a joy, the location is astounding.

I can really recommend Casa Luthi. It is perfectly located between nice restaurants, cafes and bars and in addition right next to the Italian market which is every day. It is also right next to the sea promenade and beaches of Ortigia. Everything was well functioning. We enjoyed the AC and fast Wi-Fi. On top, there is also a rooftop terrace with a nice view. Massimiliano is a great host who provided us with many recommendations and was always answering fast. We would definitely stay there again!

The flat is a really lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the very central location of the flat very close to the Orthigia market and many restaurants around. We visited the market nearly daily to get some really fresh ingredients for our cooking in the kitchen. We loved also view from the small balcony to the road with all its typical sounds for such am old Italian town. The nice view from the roof top terrace is great to enjoy some cold wine or some breakfast. Acutally the steps to the terrace are steep but absolutely ok in such an historic building. We have in mind to come back as there are so many things to see in and around Syracuse.
