Apartment was very clean and comfortable

A very cosy and well equipped apartment. Really clean, great location, about 20mins walk from the centre and located in a quieter area. Perfect if one prefers less noisy places.

The upstairs section was quite warm because the air-co didn't really reach there, isn't the best for sleeping in hot weather.

Nothing to consider

The property was clean and nicely furnished.

The property is located in a rather run down neighbourhood and there are few shops, bars or restaurants nearby. I would also question whether the area is safe late at night. The property is a 20 to 25 minute walk both from Ortigia and from the archaeological park. The property is split level with a sleeping area above the ground floor. It was very hot during our stay and the air conditioning cools the living area but is at too low a level for the cool air to reach up to the sleeping area which means it is difficult to sleep at night during hot weather. The hosts were not particularly friendly.

Lovely apartment with a modern design near the center of Siracusa. The facilities were great and the bed was cozy.

Very beautiful apartment, cosy and it has everything you need, iron, little oven, conditioner and free parking near.

This was a spacious apartment, modern, tastefully decorated, clean. The cot for our child was very comfortable (not always a given when traveling!), and the host also provided a few toys that were much appreciated. It's great that the sleeping area is separate from the living room/kitchen. Street parking is free right next to the property. Walking distance to Ortigia and the attractions in Siracusa.

There were plenty of breakfast snacks though all of them sweet - other reviews mentioned that so at least we knew what to expect. I would suggest having a proper knife in the kitchen, the existing one is blunt. The sofa is not very comfortable.

cheap price, not the cheap quality.

Only after you get into the courtyard you can get the courtyard gate key. We had to yell for help to get into the courtyard and a neighbor was so nice to open the gate for us. The apartment key barely works. electricity was off 2 minutes after our getting in the apartment. Wifi password was very unnoticeable and we looked hard to find it. Hot water for shower quickly turned cold. My wife had to give up showering. The worn towels with stains on are sickening. The greasy tray in the oven deterred us from using it.

A very cozy apartment in a very good location of Siracusa, distant from city noise. If you are there on Sunday, there is an amazing food market on the square right across the road! I was there with my boyfriend, we tried to cook a bit, so Sunday market was a rescue. The apartment has a little kitchenette and one can prepare some easy dishes. The bed upstairs is comfortable and if you stay a couple of days it basically has the most necessary things in it. The owner Erika was pleasant and responsive. she contacted me and gave the check-in instructions. We appreciated croissants for breakfast. coffee machine is ok.

A good knife and a chopping board was missed when cooking, as there was only one butter knife. One can’t switch the shower to the hose without being watered by a ”tropical rain” setting first. Maybe a bit more coffee capsules needed.
