Not enough light in the kitchen

Enzo and Mary offer a lovely apartment to stay in when visiting Syracuse. It is an easy 10 to 15 minute walk to Oritigia. Enzo is very attentive to guest needs. The apartment of spotlessly, clean and very welcoming. There is a balcony off the bedroom that overlooks the street. The kitchen, living area, which includes a sofa. Bed is next to an inner courtyard. The inner courtyard there is a table and two chairs for dining alfresco. There is a coop market on Via Mosco, about five blocks away. It is a working class neighborhood, I felt safe here walking around day and night. There is a main shopping street, Corso Gelone, a few blocks away the street in front of the apartment and left the car there for two days without any problems. It was free parking. I am so glad that I found Enzo in Mary’s apartment, I had a relaxing two night stay there.

Enzo Is an exceptional host! He went the extra mile to make sure that my stay went extremely well in many aspects. The apartment is large, and I enjoyed the balcony off of the bedroom as well as the sitting area outside the door. The air conditioning was working very well in the extreme temperatures at the time I was in Syracuse. There is a bus stop only 6 minutes away that goes to Catania airport (Syracuse Corso Gelone 52). It was about a 20 minute walk to the Ortigia Bridge for me.

The property was very convenient to all that is great about Siracusa and only a few minute walk to beautiful Ortigia! The apartment had all of the comforts of home 😊

- Great location. Within walking distance from both Ortigia and Neapolis. - Host was very helpful and kind. Although he doesn’t speak English, he did manage to convey things through translation apps. - Very well equipped apartment. Spacious and has all the toiletries, extra bedding, umbrellas....basically anything you might need.

It's very poorly isolated. The single layered windows filter nothing and being quite close to the main street, we were bothered by noise the whole night. It didn’t help that there was some construction work going on.

Very pleasant impressions - a fully equipped cosy apartment with everything necessary for a long stay - there are even umbrellas). A positive bright bedroom with a balcony that overlooks a narrow street, the traffic did not bother much. The bedroom has a lot of extra blankets, pillows for the bed and decorative ones, the interior is nice. The owner is very friendly. He does not speak English, but famously uses google translate to communicate. Soundproofing in the house is not perfect, but the location is not noisy at all, for Sicily. Great location for visiting all tourist attractions. We highly recommend.

Enzo welcomed us and kindly showed us the apartment. It was very clean and cosy, it has everything what you need for a comfortable stay. Easy to find a parking place on the street for free. The location is very good, since it takes only 10-15 minutes walk to the center.

Fully equipped apartment in a great location. Only a few minutes walk to Ortigia and Siracusa. Neighborhood is quiet. Free (public) parking at the street might be challenging, but was no problem during our stay (in February). Great value for money!

Kitchen / living room rather dark and not very cosy.

The apartment is spacious, nice, in a good location. And it has everything inside, feels like home, not like a hotel. You can walk to Ortigia, you have food spots around the corner, market, pharmacy etc.
