Sirmione Beach Apartment

Die Unterkunft war geräumig. Die Ausstattung war okay. Zum Strand etwa 5min zu Fuß- okay. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Der Kinderpool war super.

Die Möbel waren schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Schlafsofa war kurz vor dem Auseinanderfallen und musste von uns repariert werden. Ebenso die Toilettenspülung. Die Duschbrause war auch nicht in Ordnung. Kleiderschrank nicht nutzbar, da voll mit Gerümpel. Kontakt verlief im Vorfeld sehr schleppend, aber freundlich.

The location was quite nice, quite close to a beach and with a couple of nice restaurants very nearby. The two pools at the premises were really nice - especially with kids, the pool area was very clean and with a large grass area. The pools were in a closed, private area for residents only and even had a lifeguard attending every day. The apartment had a quite nice terrace with lounge furniture and a table very suitable for having breakfast or dinner in the evening. However, the apartment was quite basic, yet equipped with the things we needed for having a nice holiday with our family.

We did not know that the apartment was someone’s private apartment - we thought we had booked a rental home. Also, we several times experienced quite a lot of ants on the floor in both living room and bathroom, but we found bug spray in the apartment to deal with them. Also, the booking said that a private parking “may be available”, this was however not the case (we asked the booking after our arrival), but instead we were able to park the car on a public parking lot in front of the apartment area. It was also not possible for us to find the location of the outside area for waste/garbage, the guidance provided to us was not accurate. So we found another one at another street close-by. Finally, we didn’t have sheets for the kids’ bed, and even though asking (in writing) the booking if we could have it, we never received any response.

Really nice appartment with air-condition and access to a swimming pool very close by. Even a nice little beach close by, to the left of the yacht club.

If you don't have a car, it's not so close to the convenience store. But not too far either. The beautiful heart of Sirmione is not close either, but easy to take the local bus. Be ware though, bus drivers take cash only. On some stops there's a machine to buy tickets with card.

Great location and the flat got everything you need. Very nice and clean.

There is bus stop literally outside and it takes you to central Sormione for just a euro each! nice pool as well although we only used it for a day. There is a harbour just outside the apartment from where we got a boat for a day. wry professional and I would highly recommend.

At the pool, the guy asked us if we were staying in apartments and if we had a key which we ofcourse did. the problem is he didn't go to anyone else just us and then said that there was another "Indian" family who were t staying but came to use the pool. so many things wrong with this, first his assumption that we were Indian, then not being sensitive enough and professional in the way he asked. he did apologise though but still unacceptable in my view.
