The Wanderlast Sorrento

It was in a great location, very close to the center. Lovely apartment, with A/C. The host was very nice and attentive to anything related to our stay.

Clean rooms and facilities. Host was very co-operative and friendly.

Well-equipped kitchen, full sized fridge, even if small it does the job! Natural light, good air con, great sized shower.

A bit of a shame to arrive and realise it’s on the busiest, noisiest road, which isn’t quite clear in pictures as there is a retaining wall on the opposite side of the road, giving an impression that there’s a bit of a garden but that isn’t the case. The noise of the road goes through the entire night, and the shutters help slightly but not quite noise-proof. With a five night stay, another toilet roll would have been a good addition. Shower drain gets clogged very easy. Weird smell in the apartment that didn’t seem to go away. Not very close to town, about a 20-30 min walk to the main area, so good to keep in mind!

There was a problem with ants in the house and it was all over the bathroom. The host however came to help with this but it did take out a few towels from use for our stay. Property was quite distant from the beach and city centre approx 20-30 minute walk from most places

Apartment was spacious and bright with good Wi-Fi connection and had smart TVs in both living room and bedroom. Our host was friendly, responsive and very helpful with transfer arrangements from Naples train station and to Naples airport as well as tour recommendations. We took advantage of 2 tours that he recommended and we were very happy with it! Also happy that the apartment had a washer in it:)

Shower drain was not working very well and extra toilet paper was not provided in the room.

He bed was very comfortable and the location was good. The host was very responsive on the few occasions when we had questions.

Here were some ants in the apartment.

Wanderlust was a great spot for our family to base ourselves in Sorrento. It was a short walk to the train station and town center, with some markets and restaurants nearby. The street in front was busy but not too noisy, and the hosts were responsive and helpful.

The kitchen was a bit on the smaller side, but did contain all of the essentials. We had a small issue with the toilet running, but that is not to blame on the owner and it was resolved quickly.
