NLA lot of space and well equiped. Could sleep a family. Close to town.
Key box at front door needs more explanation. Have not seen any host. Noisy roadwork right in front during our stay. Garden of apartment nice but also used by upstair neighbor and could use nice seats.
GBThe location was great with easy access to Highlands and to Edinburgh, and Stirling Castle on your doorstep.
The area around the apartment was a bit run down with shops boarded up.
AUNLI strongly advise against renting this house. It is excessively overpriced for a property located in a deprived area, and the basics are totally inappropriate. First of all, the double bed is a disaster. It was just broken so I could only lie on 30cm. Second, the shower is very dirty. There are brown stains everywhere that just won't go away. This was also the case for the front windows, which were full of mud. Third, I expected a private garden, as the photos and text suggest, but there were unknown people walking in and out to hang their laundry to dry. So the pictures are misleading! In addition, the basics were faulty. For example, the trash can in the kitchen was way too small and unusable, there wasn't even a dish brush, only one dish towel, no tea towels, and only four toilet rolls for six weeks, so I had to buy those myself. You expect a dishwasher for this price, but at least decent resources. All in all, I think the value for money is way below par. You expect everything to be in good condition for a £90 a night cottage outside the city center. You get absolutely no value for money here, so find something else! Attempts to have decent discussions with the hosts failed. When I suggested a solution I got: We kindly request that you have no further contact with us.

USWe loved that the property was very spacious, clean and warm. It had all the necessary kitchen equipment for our stay. The hosts were very attentive, proactive in communication and friendly.
The property could benefit from some modernisation here and there.
