We had an excellent stay at San Valerio. The apartment is in a beautiful location - amongst lemon and orange trees with beautiful views towards the sea and hillside. The property offers a shuttle bus service as the road is extremely narrow. The bus always came quickly when we requested it and the driver was so friendly. It is about a 10 minute walk from the bus into the centre of Sorrento. The apartment itself was very spacious , clean and well equipped .It had a lovely terrace and balcony with great views .It was quiet and nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento ,yet within easy access .The hosts were so helpful and friendly .Nothing was too much trouble. They helped us arrange a private driver to take us on a trip along the coast which I would highly recommend . Would highly recommend this property and would definitely visit again . Fabulous!

Nothing - everything was great

It was quaint and very roomy, clean and bed was comfortable, had a sitting area that overlooked the hillside. A big plus was a washing machine!

The place is on a hill, surrounded by lemon trees resulting in relaxing holiday mood. The host was very responsive and helpful, hey also greet us with plentiful of snacks and coffee for our stay. Apartment very clean

While there is a shuttle going up/down to the apartment and it is very easy to request a ride, still it introduces some extra logistics. There is a swimming pool in the garden, sadly mid-may it wasn't prepared for use for the season, this could have been a great attraction for our kids.

Our stay in San Valero was good. The property has beautiful gardens with lemon and orange trees everywhere! The host provided a shuttle service up and down a very narrow road to the property. The service was very prompt and we had no problems staying on time with our plans. It was a bit cool in the apartment when we arrived. Arianna provided us with an extra blanket for sleeping and told us how to turn the heat on. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

The shuttle service dropped us off at the grocery store (same drop off and pick up location). We then had to walk to the town center (about 10 minutes) and to the main restaurants. It was a fair bit of walking for my elderly mother. But we managed. The shower wasn't draining that well and caused water to come out of the shower onto the floor if you let it run too long.

There was coffee, creamer and sugar. Also water and a couple of other cold beverages in the fridge. The apartment was comfortable, clean and the terrace was nice. Because of airline and train delays we were very late arriving but they still met us in town and took us to the apartment. A regular size car cannot access the drive up to the apartment so they have to meet you.

No real breakfast, there was a basket with crackers, cookies, dried bread, with packs of honey and something like a jam spread. The location could not be reached by regular size car so you had to use there shuttle. The shuttle was fine but one night we could not reach them and had to walk up the hill after dark. I was fine but my friend has asthma had had a difficult time with the steep road leading to the apartment. We then had to reach them to open the gate to let us in. In there defense they did try to text us back but we did not receive text, nor were our phone calls answered. I sent several text throughout the evening and even asked if they were receiving my text because I was not receiving any communication from them. Made what should have been a very enjoyable night a very stressful because we did not know how to enter property. Started texting early afternoon 1:45pm until 9:57pm to let them know we were outside their gate and needed to be let in.

The host contacted me prior to my check-in and made sure to meet up with me and my family when we arrived. They offer a free shuttle service steps away from the local train station up to their beautiful home. Very welcoming and even helped us up the stairs with our bags and showed us around the home. Easy and seamless process with all the comforts you would need in an apartment. The family also has a cooking school which my family and I were able to participate in on our final evening. Would definitely stay here again if I returned to Sorrento.
