Apartment was spacious

The front door entry and stairwell. These both need a thorough clean and paint. Bad impression on arrival.

The flat has all the modern facilities needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and obviously well maintained. It is excellently located for visiting the centre of Doune.

As we were staying in the flat in order to visit family who live nearby, we would have liked to show them the flat for future reference, as other family members would be interested, but the house rules prevented that.

Exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped flat. The bed is super comfortable, there are excellent cooking facilities and a washing machine. It’s very well located, for Stirling, the Trossachs and pretty much the whole of the central belt (40 minutes drive from central Glasgow for example). Great views of Doune and the castle from the kitchen windows and spectacular views of the Perthshire mountains on the road from Dunblane. Doune is a pretty village with good facilities - a good co-op, a couple of pubs and lovely tearooms. You are a few minutes drive from the fabulous Smiddy Farm shop and cafe at Blair Drummond. Great communication with the property manager, Alastair, - there was a problem with the door lock during my visit and he sent someone out to me within 40 minutes. In short, I liked everything! One thing to note - do watch the excellent video about how everything works - especially the instructions for the door lock - ideally before you arrive!

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Easy to find. Clean. Everything worked. Tea coffee already there. Near to facilities.

Very good overall, so this is not a criticism!! Would have been even better if there was a hand towel in the kitchen.

Very good location. The flat was big, cozy and clean. Also there are a lot of stuff prepared in the house for the guests, like the olive oil to cook, coffee and tea We enjoyed our stay!

It was adequate for what we needed.

The bathroom was absolutely tiny and the damp smell was horrible albeit it was spotlessly clean.

The location was good for us. We were on our way from the south of England to Aberdeen. We didn't want to stay in Aberdeen. Close to Stirling was ideal.
