great location. about 5-10 minute walk from central Takayama and 10 mins walk from the station. quiet road. comfortable sitting room with two sofas.

fairly old facilities (bathroom and kitchen). felt like it hasn’t been used for a while.

The location of guesthouse is close to the famous Takayama Old Town and Takayama Jinya. It provides very good serive quality. In addition, the guesthouse also provides good facilties, such as washing machine/dryers and kitchen.

Only three beds in room, if 4 people within the trip, one of 4 need to go to 2nd floor for rest.

A nice house in a quiet part of town, yet close to the all the tourist spots and train station. The house is a bit old, but cozy and clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds.

The wooden stairs was a bit noisy.

Spacious accommodation at the heart of Takayama, only 5 min walk to the station.

Felt very secure

Couldn’t figure out how to turn the temperature on for the water - took us 15 minutes to figure this out.

Location. It has separate bedrooms on different floors. There is a fast dryer.

Gas stove a little. Host should provide information on how to operate. If host provided electric kettle, there is no need to use the gas stove if not cooking.

Beautiful traditional Japanese house, very spacious, close to everything. Highly recommend
