Great location even if you come by car, 150 meters direct road from paid public indoor parking (Parcheggio Porta Catania), but they are located on the main pedestrian street Corso Umberto. Check-in and check-out are completely contactless. The owner of the apartment, Mimi, was in touch via WhatsApp. Magnificent terrace with overlooking the square Piazza Duomo wiht the fountain "Fontana di Piazza Duomo" and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. The city of Taormina is a very lively Sicilian city, the atmosphere of which you can feel in the apartment. Noise from the bar (many reviews have been written about it) will not cause much disturbance if the window and the blinds in the bedroom are closed. An alternative to this noise is the early morning noise from garbage collection machines, but in Italy everywhere, garbage is collected and taken away at 5 o'clock in the morning. You just have to accept it. In the apartment there is a funny announcement asking you to take out the trash early in the morning if possible. Apartment in good repair, clean and comfortable with Sicilian charm and interior: ceramics, tiles in the kitchen, table on the terrace, tablecloth with lemons, mugs and cups for coffee. Equipped kitchen with large refrigerator, washing machine, coffee machine, vacuum cleaner. Iron and ironing board. The bed was quite comfortable, the sofa was not used as a bed. Good experience to come back!

The apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator, this was not a minus for me, but if you have health problems or problems with your legs, it’s hard.

Sehr funktionelle und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit eine Traumterrasse mit Blick auf Meer, Dom, und das Treiben unter uns am Marktplatz.

Wir haben schon mit Lärm gerechnet, wie er halt in Innenstädeten normal ist, aber nicht mit einer Bar direkt unter dem Schlafzimmer, von der jede Nacht bis 2 Uhr extrem laut die Bässe wummern. Auch die Tische im Freien wurden großzügig beschallt. Das geht mal zwei Tage, aber unseren gelanten 2 1/2 Wochen urlaub haben wir entnervt vorzeitig abgebrochen. Schade, sonst wäre eigentlich alles perfekt.

La casa è in un' ottima posizione, è arredata con gusto e la vista dal terrazzo è spettacolare!!!
