Taonasi Taormina Apartments

A fabulous apartment in beautiful Taormina. Although the drive to this apartment is ‘interesting’ (hire a small car!) you will instantly feel at home here. This two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is comfortable, well equipped (eg dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, microwave, a hair dryer in each bathroom!) and benefits from a location close to the town center (a 10 minute walk) and with fabulous sea views from the balcony and roof top terrace. The host, Ricardo, and his colleague Sandy (who met us at the apartment) were super helpful, both proactive and reactive. They provided helpful information on places to visit and where to eat and even topped up the coffee supply when we ran out and asked where we could buy more. We would recommend this apartment without hesitation.

we liked everything but agree with other comments that the roads around the apartment are both narrow and steep so hire a small car and be prepared for a strenuous walk (even the short walk up to the bus stop might be a challenge for some).

Great for group of 4 friends. Pre-stay info was excellent--including pictures. Sandy was super helpful including making a a reservation for lunch on our first day. Apartment very clean and well equipped.

No problem for us but just be aware that there is a 15 min walk into the heart of town--some steep areas on the walk

The property is perched high on the slopes of Taormina. There is a view to the sea - one can see mainland Italy from the terrace. The apartment is very spacious, it was very nice to have breakfast outside on the side terrace under the avocado tree.

The city collected the garbage early in the morning, so there was noise of shattering glass at 5:30AM, sometimes twice in one morning. The windows are not double-glazed, so we were always woken up early.

Quiet convenient location. The apartment was very spacious for a family of 6 Welcome bottle of wine, tea and coffee Ricardo kept in touch to check everything was ok and provided tips for trips, places to eat etc

Riccardo var den mest fantastiska värd jag upplevt. Han var så tillmötesgående och hjälpsam! Även Sandy som jobbar för Riccardo var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Lägenheten är toppen! Perfekt för 3 par då det finns 3 bra sovrum och 2 badrum. Uteplatsen är mycket trevlig med olika matplatser och 3 solstolar och har fin utsikt. In till stan tar det ca 15 minuter att promenera vilket var helt ok. En krävande backe de första 100m men sen är det inte så kuperat. Den lokala bussen stannar precis uppe på backen, ca 100m upp så möjligheten finns att ta buss istället för att promenera(kostar 2EUR). Vi är jättenöjda!

Beautiful, large well-equipped apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the views and terraces were amazing! Would definitely stay there again. Riccardo was a great host and we really appreciated the help from both he and Sandy.

The walk from the apartment to town was a little steep for just the first few minutes—for us as older travelers, it was not an issue at all. And we really appreciated being out of the bustle of the heart of Taormina.
