Duomo Square Apartment

It's a lovely and special home in a fantastic location. Our host was excellent, he was very helpful and gave us great recommendations.

Apartment was very well located over looking the Piazza Duomo, so a very short walk to restaurants, bars etc. but the apartment was still quiet. Apartment was also spacious and comfortable, with a large living room, comfy bed, large sofa’s etc. Also Luca was very friendly, gave us some local tips and was very easy to deal with

The apartment was beautifully furnished and felt like home. Situated facing the square, it was lovely sitting with our coffees watching people from our balcony.

Luca's grandmother's former apartment overlooks the Duomo Square, which is the perfect location in Taormina -- very close to restaurants, and cafes right out the front door, but ~75M off the main pedestrian boulevard, which dramatically reduces ambient noise. The apartment is charming and well equipped, but don't be expecting lots of chrome and glass -- this is a wonderful period piece, updated to make it comfortable without losing any of its charm. Valet parking is available for a most reasonable price, and a must if you drive to Taormina. Luca was extraordinary in his availability and responsiveness, had lots of restaurant and sightseeing suggestions (including what to avoid), and really took the extra steps to make our stay wonderful. We really liked this apartment a lot!

It was very easy to get the keys. Individual walked me through the apartment pointing out key aspects. AC worked well, bed was very comfortable, great location.
