The apartment is nice, stylish, clean and quiet. air conditioning worked well for heating and there were enough blankets. I appreciated the washing machine that dried the clothes. You have to go up a hill a bit when you return home, but I did not find it too strenuous. The owner is very responsive to messages. I took a taxi from the railway station but I believe that there are buses that stop in the nearby Piazza von Gloden (for me the timing was not convenient).

There a was a bit of smell in the bathroom, but nothing to deter you from booking. Also, not related to the apartment: the first small shop as you go down to Taormina centre (in front of vico Polibio) is a rip-off. I bought there very good oranges, but be careful or you'll be overcharged.
