This is a comfortable and quiet apartment in the pleasant little town of Tegueste, well located for hiking/biking/driving trips in the Anaga peninsula and for visiting the cities. As others have said, furnished in 19th century castle style - there are a lot of ornaments and decorative detail, as can be seen from the photos. There are 41 cookery books! It is not a 'loft' nor particularly 'rural' - it is in fact a large street-level apartment in a small town. Some good restaurants nearby, including right next door. Parking was easy, the apartment was very clean, and the welcome cake delicious.

There is no outlook - just a view of passers by from the waist down. The 'courtyard view' is a light well, with a glimpse of the sky. In January, we found it quite cold in the apartment, there is just one fan heater provided. You must take your items for recycling to public bins. The is little storage space available to guests, in spite of the large size of the apartment. In the kitchen, there is no hot running water, which has to be carried from the nearby bathroom.
