it was very nice inside

The area. it was difficult to find as the satnav lead us the to the other side the building which was other road and if someone doesn’t know the place hard to find the number. when we find the number after everything was good.

The view is beautiful of Galilee. The host is very responsive. It has enough space for a large family. Linens were clean. Washer and dryer available. Free parking.

The entrance is very dirty and crowded with residents that watch as you enter. It's on the fourth floor with no stairwell lighting. The water heater wasn't replacing the shower water and we didn't find out until the morning. There were not enough dishes, plates, bowls, utensils. The shower was small and dirty with a curtain that wasn't meant for the rods. Lots of water escapes. Ants were in the bathroom. Lastly two of the three need frames were so creaky and squeaky that it would wake you when you moved while sleeping. It would be more comfortable with the mattresses on the ground. We wouldn't stay here again mostly because of the awkward entrance parading past the local residents.

The kitchen could be better equipped (bowls, plates etc, and one more chair) Apart from that, we liked the stay there.

The location is very good,quiet and peaceful. The property is well maintained and was quite large for the four of us. There are 3 double beds and all the amenities. There is one bath and toilet.The additional toilet is very convenient when the bathroom is in use. The view of the Sea of Galilee from the sitting room windows, especially in the mornings Is great. The free WiFi in the flat is very fast and stable. There is a safe, free and open parking facility in front of the property. The directions and instructions provided by the host to access the property were very clear and easy to follow. The property is in Tiberias and is quite close to the biblical sites of Capernaum, church of multiplication and the sermon Mount among other places like Hamat Tiberias National park. There is a small shop close by. A big mall and a super store are within a short driving distance from the property. In fact, you can see the mall and the restaurants from the sitting room window. All in all, a very good place to use as a base to explore the sea of Galilee region. The host does not speak much English. However, he is able to communicate lucidly in English using Google translator if you send WhatsApp messages. We were not sure whether we could drink water directly from the tap nor were there any instructions to the contrary. We played it safe by drinking bottled water and using boiled water from the kettle for coffee, tea, porridge etc.

The property is on the fourth floor of a four floor apartments complex. It is definitely not suitable for people who are old or have problems going up or down over 4 floors of steps because there are no lift facilities to access the apartment. Also, there is a ramp from the road level at the parking down to the entrance. My wife and I are 70+. While we could climb up and down, comfortably, we were not fit enough to carry our big baggages and had to pick essentials from the baggage and put them in a carry bag leaving the suitcase in the car. This, to me is the only downside of the property.

The entrance to the apartment block was dirty, stairs to the flat (4th floor not lift) didn't have any light. Two of the three bedrooms have broken roller shutters and windows that need to be replaced. Very awkward curtain shower
