Viva Valencia Apartments

Apartment was in an a good location close to the beach with easy accessibility to the city centre. We used Uber/taxis most of the time. A huge plus point was the two bathrooms and the friendly owner who provided a list of excellent restaurant recommendations and was always available

There were some mosquitos which seemed to be coming from the small internal yard which had an open drain. A full length mirror and more towels would be welcome additions.

Very comfortable flat with all the necessities. Kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were big and showers had great water pressure, beds were comfortable. Best location for Valencia - Cabañal is wonderful. Very pleased with our stay!

The "balcony" was not very usable as it is a classic Spanish interior courtyard, rather than a balcony. People from flats above smoke and throw their cigarette butts down to this yard, so that's quite gross. The cleaner could do a better job with the floors. We got in, took our shoes off in the house and had very dirty socks as a result. I do think that's a cultural thing though as this seemed to be the case in every flat we stayed at in Spain.

The apartment was a good size and having 2 bathrooms was handy. Miguel was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us lots of tips on where to eat. Miguel was very understanding when we actually lost one of the keys to the apartment. The apartment block was pretty quiet and had minimal street noise. There were lots of little supermarkets around the apartment and a bus stop into the centre of Valencia across the road which was really convenient.

The apartment was not as clean as all the places we have stayed in Europe so far. The main bed sags in the middle and the photos on the website did not match the apartment. And there were no wine glasses.

When I showed up at the property the bed was so sunken in the middle it would have been better to sleep on the floor. There was a cockroach in one of the rooms and the place smelled like sewer. There were very minimal kitchen items and no kitchen or paper towels. When I contacted the owners about the issues they didn't respond even though they had just sent over wifi information moments before. I cannot in good faith recommend this place to anyone.
