Valletta Two Bedroom Apartment Close To The Sea

The location.

The apartment was not clean and it lacked linen, towels, sponge for the dishes, shampoo.

Spacious apartment (great to have two bathrooms), located on a quiet street (no cars, no restaurants) but close to everything, well appointed kitchen, TVs in both bedrooms, comfortable beds including the sofa-bed, clean bed linens. We told the host that we were going to also need the sofa for sleep and appreciated it was already pulled and ready to sleep in. We asked to not have any perfume dispensed in the apartment and we were pleased it was done (clean air without any smell of chemicals/perfume). We stayed for more than three weeks and appreciated that there was plenty of toilet paper, shower gel/shampoo, and hand soap.

Unfortunately only one kitchen towel and no paper towels (apparently paper towels are not provided in Malta apartments for rent). We asked for more kitchen towels and they were provided the next day, but paper towels would have been much better (will explain later why). Now, to the unpleasant part: the towels. I strongly believe that you should treat your guests the way you treat yourself, if not better. I can bet that the owner of the apartment would never use the bathroom towels we were provided: they looked really old, and the smell once they became wet was really off-putting. Towels should be always washed at 90 degrees and replaced more often than never - otherwise you end up with reviews like this. We had to wash them properly but the smell was still there albeit a little less offending. Another problem was that even the kitchen towels had the same smell although not as bad. We asked for more fresher towels and we did receive several; they looked newer but they still had the same smell just not as bad and had to wash these too after one use (still did not get rid of the smell entirely). I don't know where they do the laundry but they should change it to a professional place. If this problem were to be fixed we would fully recommend the place; otherwise, it is still a Yes, but bring your own towels!

Central location and cosy flat.

Its location is great. The main street is just a few mins' walk. There is a shop on the corner which is also a few mins's walk. and open from 8:00am till 10:00pm. The apartment was spacious, one of the bedrooms was ensuite. It is prefect for accommodating four people.The kitchen is well equipped. it is like an American one so when you enter the apartment you arein the livingroom and the kitchen. Wach room has got a big wardrobe. There were extra duvets, blankets in the wardrobes. The beds were comfy. It was easy to get in as the host was waiting for us to give us the key. When we left, we dropped the key into the keybox. The apartment is on the first floor. There is a lift in the house. I can recommend it to everyone.

Great location. Very clean and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay.
