Oceanview Cottage Tutukaka Coast

Secluded location with the opportunity to explore the large private estate. Spectacular unrestricted views of the ocean and Poor Knights Islands from the cottage's position close to the headland. The cottage had everything - comfortable and beautifully furnished; well-equipped kitchen; patio furniture on the deck, and full laundry. Located just a few minutes drive north of Tutukaka. We wish we had booked it for a couple of weeks instead of a few nights.

The peacefulness of the location of the property was just the beginning. Being introduced to the rugged Northlands in all their temperamental glory became a highlight of our holiday. The facilities are well appointed, bedding comfortable, making the opportunity to relax faultless

Absolute stunning location within the grounds of the vineyard and farm. The view is breathtaking. The attention to detail in the accommodation is top. It has everything you could possibly need. Even a bottle of wine is waiting for you upon arrival. It is stylish yet comfortably furnished and the kitchen is very well equipped. The pots and pans are plenty and big enough should you want to cook pasta for 6 people. The animals are geourgous. We particularly loved the donkeys and the pukekos. Lots of wild birds to watch. Oh and not to forget the pigs and cows, always happy to chat😁 The grounds are kept immaculately and are beautiful. We went in winter and loved the wood burner and the wood supplied. The cottage is very thoughtfully and comfortably furnished, extremely clean and has wonderful views looking out over Poor Knight's Island. The surrounding property is also great to explore and it's definitely worth visiting the resident alpacas, donkeys and pigs. It's also a short drive to Matapouri beach and Whale Bay, two of the most beautiful beaches in all of NZ. We would love to come back here and really hope we get the chance!

The complimentary wine from the property's vineyard was delicious, just a shame tastings/purchasing bottles isn't possible. Other than that, just wish we could have stayed longer!

Very well appointed property with a stunning view. Everything you need to cook / BBQ onsite. Plenty to do on the wider property itself (private cove for swimming, cabana, etc.) and also a lot to do in the area (walks, beaches, activities, etc). Some dining options in nearby towns if you don’t want to cook.

The property is gorgeous, well equipped and very tasteful interior. Craig met us at the house and gave us lots of great suggestions of things to see and do in the area. He was extremely welcoming and accommodating! And nothing beats the 360 views.. Absolutely spectacular
