Beds & Breaks Gade

Lovely apt for 4 guests. The location was fantastic. We had a balcony view of all the activity during 9 October celebration.

The location was really great- very central for all we wanted to see and do. There were lots of places to eat in the nearby streets. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was quite well equipped.

We thought that some of the furnishing were a bit tired and could do with replacing or brightening up.

The flat is spacious and comfortable, and it is very central and well located for Valencia's old town. It has a great view from the rooms. You can walk anywhere. It is also easy to go to the beach via public transport (30min total travel time using the tram).

Nothing really bad. Being so central and near bars and restaurants, some nights were a bit noisy, but it was not too bad at all. It was 3 of us and my friends took the room with 2 beds. It was really hot a couple of days and, as there is no air conditioning in the rooms, they were quite hot at night. But most days it was fine.

Fantastic location in the Old Town, it was fairly quiet but with plenty of restaurants and shops on the doorstep. The cathedral is less than a minutes walk away, and it’s a 5 minute walk to catch a bus to The City of Arts and Sciences. We hired bikes and reached the beach in around 1/2 hour, all of it on cycle paths. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom nice and big. It’s got a very comprehensive folder with information on the area and the apartment. WiFi was good enough for the 4 of us to be online at the same time. It’s on the 5th floor and has a lovely view from the bedroom balconies of the square.

There is only an air con unit in the living room, with fans provided for the bedrooms. This isn’t enough when it’s very hot and meant that none of us had a very good sleep. it was also much too warm to be in the bedrooms for a siesta during the day. Note that the view from the bedrooms over the square is great but that’s the only views in the apartment, the living room windows are tinted and all face internal courtyards so there isn’t much light. The apartment is not exactly as per the photos and although it was very clean it could do with a fresh lick of paint and updating of some of the furniture. It would be nice if tea towels and kitchen roll were provided, we could wash up but not dry anything. It was a little inconvenient that we had to collect the key from somewhere else (about 15 minutes away) and there is no parking. The person I was meeting was late so my husband ended up driving around the block many times, waiting for me to come out with the key. I would say it’s too far to walk with a suitcase, especially if it is really hot.

Amazing location, and stunning views from the two balconies (one in each bedroom) of beautiful Valencia old town.

In need of some care! Dirty walls & paintwork. Dirty furniture ie sofa. Had covers thrown over them, but these were stained too! Smell of drains in the kitchen/ lounge. It states there is aircon. Please be aware this is just in the lounge/kitchen, & not in the bedrooms. You had to get rid of all rubbish in the local rubbish bins before leaving the apartment. Never experienced this in a holiday rental before.

It is all about the location. The rest not that good.

The apartment was very dirty and neglected. When I complained about the situation, I was told that there is a professional cleaning stuff dealing with this task and that they trust their work. Even after sending the photos they ignored my pleas to clean it up. Usually I would not care. But as we stayed with the child that wants to touch everything I had to notice all this things. And it made our vacation very exhausting. So I would not recommend the place at all. See photos for yourself

They dont provide washing powder and some stuff like that. You need to manage yourself.

The location is fantastic.

I was extremely upset and disappointed to be charged an hour for cleaning after we left. It seems it was for not putting the hairdryer back where it was found as I was sent a picture of it still plugged in next to the mirror in the corridor.
