Valletta Large 3 Bedroom

The Apartment was located in the heart of beautiful Valletta, 50 metres from the waterfront facing the 3 cities, the apartment block was a very traditional building very clean and very quiet but most of all it had a lift as the apartment was on the 3rd floor, the apartment itself was very modern, clean and well laid out and fully equipped.

Even though there wasn’t anything we didn’t like the only advice I would offer is that a second couch would have been great as there was 5 of us in our party and only lounge seating for 3, the wi fi and internet connections were very hit and miss but this didn’t stop us enjoying our holiday.

The Air conditioning was not working and nobody came there to fix it

So much space, great facilities, modern fittings, nice little touches (like pod coffee). Very centrally located. Probably one of the best places we could have stayed in.

Maybe just the stairs as we had a family and couldn't all use the lift. Took shifts or just got a couple of levels of exercise so no issue really.

The location was excellent. The apartment was a pleasant surprise as it was beautifully decorated, and the facilities adequate for our needs. The host was extremely helpful and answered my many questions quickly. We would be happy to stay there again.

The air conditioning in the main room needs to be looked at, as it wouldn’t cool to less than 26c. But this didn’t impact on our stay.

We loved the apartment, great location, very clean and spacious. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

The property was very good, but the host was absolutely impolite and agressive when we faced an issue with the door locker (was blocked because I tried to unlock both lockers, not only the below one according to the intructions sent). The host arrived at 5:30pm after my call (he became upset) and tried to unblock the door but he couldn't; after some calls to lockersmiths, he claimed that the lockersmith is available only at 8pm, but WE should pay him because this was our problem. Having 2 elderly women with me, we were forced to wait with our luggage 3h for the lockersmith -texting and calling desperately the host, since the lockersmith didn't appear at 8pm as claimed- arriving finally at 9:15pm and we paid him 70€, although the host assured me that the cost should be around 40€; when I called him to reconfirm, he said that of course it is 70€ since after 9pm they charge more! Of course no receipt was given (black money). Private transfer from the airport was also a hussle; was prepaid for 25€ via PayPal, the driver delayed 20' and wasn't even sure about the apartment's location! He also claimed a 16€ payment and after several calls to the host and taxi company (insane!) he confirmed the payment. When I mentioned that to the host, he said that the driver was stupid! (he arranged the transfer though). Just to mention that to our way from the apartment to the airport we paid 7,50€ by Bolt service, so the conclusions are easy.

The overall attitude of the host (or company which manages the property). Travelling for more than 20 years abroad, this was by far the worst experience I ever had. I wish none traveller would ever have this experience, feeling completely desperate and unwelcome. Eventhough a guest makes a mistake (because he claimed this several times being upset) getting this impolite and agressive behavior is beyond imagination! Not even once during our stay he asked us if everything -after all this adventure- was ok; the only msg we got was about the check-out time and where to leave the keys.
