Cloud 9 - Apartment with stunning lake view

Der Ausblick auf den See war wundervoll. Jeden Morgen schön.

Die Wohnung war durchaus ‚gewöhnungsbedürftig‘. Matratzen, die nicht ins Bett passen. Eine Couch, die schon bessere Tage gesehen hat; mit einem Überwurf, der durchaus mal eine Wäsche vertragen könnte. Türgriffe, die beim Anschauen fast abfallen und Handtücher, die schon bessere Tage gesehen haben. Die Klobürste dürfte gern ersetzt werden und der Wasserkocher bräuchte dringend eine Grundreinigung. Der Wasserhahn in der Küche verliert kostbares Wasser ohne Ende; ebenso die Dusche. Eine Rohrzange oder ein bisschen Essig würden da schon helfen. Von den kaputten Sonnenschutz-Jalousien und der assligen Küche will ich gar nicht erst anfangen … Immerhin war die Wohnung einigermaßen sauber. Aber wir kommen sicher nicht wieder.

Pas d'équipement pour faire sécher du linge, pas d'explications pour sortir les poubelles.

The accommodation was roomy and met our expectations. It was easy to find and the instruction from the host to find the key box, how to get in the apartment etc etc were very clear. The host also did respond very quickly to our email/messages which was helpful. We absolutely loved the balcony and the views. They are not stunning as the Ad mentions they are STUNNING. Also Belgirate is very central to Stresa and drive through the hills. A place to remember when you are looking for a place at the Lago Maggoire.

Make sure you have the correct power plug if you come from outside Europe. (but that has nothing to do with the apartment, more with our preparation).

Spacious, clean and very well equipt kitchen. Great storage space for clothes.

No airconditioning so gets very warm. Beds on the hard side.
