APARTAMENTO TORRE DE HÉRCULES A CORUÑA con GARAJE

Large and very nicely furnished apartment. You have a direct view to the hill with the Torre de Hercules. They also have a garage space included. We felt very welcome here.

Ligging op loopafstand van het mooie oude centrum en een fijne baai bijna recht voor de deur. Fietsen huren is echt een aanrader hier. Uitzicht op zee. Op de toren alleen als de bomen kaal zijn. Pluspunt is ook de garage, je moet echter wel goed kunnen manoeuvreren (vooral met een grotere auto). Parkeren op straat is niet mogelijk.

Veel geluidsoverlast!! Je hoort bijna alles van de buren (hoesten, niezen, slaande deuren, blaffende honden). Het dichtslaan van de garagedeur gaat met een flinke knal. We hebben erg slecht geslapen hierdoor. 1e Badkamer: toegang tot douchecabine héél smal. 2e Badkamer; douchecabine niet goed toegankelijk, dus niet gebruikt.

The apartment was very clean and well-equipped, with many appliances from a few years ago.

The worst part is the damp smell in the dining area, which is very unpleasant, plus the fact that the temperature is controlled remotely, so guests can't adjust it from inside. It was cold in the morning and in the bathrooms, as there’s no heating inside. That was a bit uncomfortable for us. In any case, the worst part was the noise from the neighbors. It seems that someone unwell lives in the apartment above, as there was extremely loud yelling both nights throughout the early morning and at dawn, making it very difficult and unpleasant to get a good night's rest. The sea view is very nice, but since it’s on the first floor, people walking by on the street can see in clearly, so there’s no privacy. Lastly, I’d mention the parking access, as it’s very challenging for any car that isn’t small. You have to move backwards in, which is quite inconvenient.

Spacious, comfortable, very clean and well equipped

Noise from neighbours coming home upstairs at 3am, dog barking. Loud mambo music from danceclub across road until 1.30 on Sat night - but this is Spain and they like their late nights, especially at weekends.

It had everything we needed and the hosts were a phone call away if we had a problem.

A small thing but water would not stay in the bathroom basin.

The apartment was lovely. Overlooking the sea and with a private garage. The owner was so helpful and came to meet us as soon as we arrived. Despite a language barrier, with a bit of Google translate, she explained everything to us. The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean and with everything you could possibly need. We had a choice of 3 coffee makers! We ate in, so used the kitchen to the full and it had everything! We were in a lovely location and despite the inclement weather, which meant we couldn't make the most of our proximity to beautiful beaches, we spent a fabulous time in A Coruna.
