La casita de Palomar - PalomarGroup

A great apartment with everything we needed. The location is great for exploring Valencia. The team at PalomarGroup were so helpful responding to our questions and booking us a taxi for our return. We had a brilliant stay and would use this company again.

Great location, secure, comfortable, quiet enough, had a terrace, well equipped and the TV had the Disney Channel (in English) for our little ones. I would stay here again despite the negatives below.

It was very good but if I have to be fully transparent a few too many things needed fixing: the shutters didn’t fully open, the oven was broken, one of the lights flickered, the plugs didn’t stop water going down the sink and the kitchen sink had no plug at all. All of these were reported by me but not fixed during our stay. I also asked for the sofa bed to be made up for our late arrival but it wasn’t and we had to make it ourselves.

Clean and well equipped space. Really good location and fast and helpful communication. We really enjoyed our stay!

We were given the entry instructions the day before our stay. Everything worked smoothly. Location is excellent. 5 mins walk to restaurants and bakery. Several supermarkets nearby. Historical centre within 10 to 15 minutes. The apartment was clean, comfortable with new fridge and washing machine. Dolce Gusto machine, kettle and dishwasher (tabs provided) Bed was good. It felt very secure. New towels were provided half way through our stay. Could have happily moved in. We left our bags before and after at Palau de Palomar which is just round the corner (I’d been staying there before) though I understand there are also luggage lockers at the casita. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

It was lovely to have the terrace and outdoor table and chairs (and clothes drier) but it looked a bit barren. A few plants could make it look nicer. Maybe a Sun lounger or some wicker furniture? My previous terrace at the Palau was more welcoming.

Amazing customer service!

The description was different. In fact, when I received the email to rate the property, there was a photo of the flat we supposedly rented.

Excellently equipped apartment, in such a location that you can walk everywhere except the beach.

Check in/out very easy and straightforward. Communication was excellent and any queries I had were quickly dealt with. We arrived early and were able to check in ahead of time. The apartment was spotless and everything in it was as new. Air conditioning was great and lovely to come back to! Being able to leave our luggage in storage on the last day was great as we had a late flight.

It was a bit of a trek to get to the beach from the apartment as we had to walk to the nearest metro (about 10 mins walk) and then change from metro to tram. The journey took around an hour each way. However the location was great for seeing the old town, close to everything. One thing that I didn't like was the grubbiness of the streets near the apartment and old town in general. The pavements were very dirty and stained with evidence from the night before! Also there was graffiti everywhere!
