Albufeira Emblematica Apartment - Wifi & Pool

The apartment is lovely and spacious. It’s located near the main strip (about a 5 minute walk), however the neighbourhood is still on the quieter side which was ideal. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, overall a really welcoming and safe vibe in this apartment. Would stay again!

The pool wasn’t working at the time of our stay, however the host was very considerate in proving us updates with progress being made. The beach was a near walk so this didn’t end up being a super big deal, but it would have been nice to have.

Wir haben dieses Apartment bewusst gebucht, da es ausdrücklich mit einem Pool beworben wurde. Vor Ort kam dann leider die große Enttäuschung: Es gab keinen nutzbaren Pool. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass wir darüber im Vorfeld in keiner Weise informiert wurden. Auch vor Ort erhielten wir keinerlei vernünftige Erklärung. Als wir die Reinigungskraft des Apartments darauf ansprachen, reagierte sie lediglich mit einem Schulterzucken – damit war das Thema für sie offenbar erledigt. Die Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vermieter war ebenfalls äußerst schwierig. Erst nach mehreren Anrufen meldete er sich schließlich per WhatsApp. Wir haben ihm mitgeteilt, dass wir das Apartment gerade wegen des Pools gebucht hatten und nicht verstehen können, weshalb wir über dessen Nichtverfügbarkeit nicht informiert wurden. Statt auf unser Anliegen konkret einzugehen, wurden wir eher abgewimmelt. Er meinte lediglich, er kümmere sich darum und würde sich wieder melden. Danach kam jedoch keinerlei Rückmeldung mehr – weder eine Erklärung noch eine Lösung. Zusätzlich war die Unterkunft leider nicht wirklich sauber. In den Schubladen befanden sich Haare, alte Fusselrollen der Vormieter sowie herumliegende Verpackungen von Batterien. Auch ein benutzter Wischmopp lag auf dem Balkon herum. Insgesamt waren wir sehr enttäuscht, da die Unterkunft nicht dem entsprochen hat, was online beworben wurde. Daher unsere klare Empfehlung an zukünftige Gäste: Vor der Buchung unbedingt nachfragen, ob der Pool aktuell tatsächlich nutzbar ist. Die Bilder sprechen leider für sich.

Community pool needs work and updating

Goede locatie (alles dichtbij). Goed groot verwarmd zwembad. Lage prijs voor hoogseizoen.

Slechte communicatie met de verhuurder wat heeft geleid tot een zeer onvriendelijke ontvangst. Veel overlast van feestende buren die in de nacht thuiskomen. Slecht onderhouden woning waarbij van alles mankeert. Temperaturen tijdens warme zomerdagen zijn niet te verdragen: 1 slaapkamer heeft geen airco, de airco van de woonkamer werkt niet, dus slechts 1 slaapkamer met werkende airco.

Excellent location. Very spacious apartment. Two bedrooms. The smaller bedrooms appears to have been converted (and enlarged) from a storage room and therefore has no window. Underground parking garage, which is very convenient. Even it is a bit narrow. Very good price and great value for money. The host was very kind and allowed us to check in a few hours earlier, which we really appreciated.

Considering the very attractive weekly price, the apartment generally offers good value for money. And i reflected this by my rating. That said, there are still a few points that could be improved, especially for winter stays: The air conditioning has not been working since May (according to the previous comments) and was still not functional during our stay in December, which made the apartment cold in winter. After we raised the issue, an electric heater was immediately provided, which helped. The hot water temperature only reaches around the mid-30s °C, which is not warm enough for comfortable showers in winter. Both the host and Irina are nice. Irina is responsible for the day-to-day management of the apartment; however, she does not speak English, which made communication somewhat challenging. Although the host was always reachable and helpful, messages had to be relayed through them, which resulted in delays in communication.

I’ll start by saying that the location is excellent — about 40 minutes from the airport and only a 15-minute walk to the nearest beach. There are plenty of restaurants and clubs around, making it a perfect place both for families with children and for young people who want to go out in the evening. Everything is within easy reach. There’s even an Aldi supermarket just a 5-minute walk away. Communication with the owner is super easy through WhatsApp or the Booking app. There are no extra charges for late check-in or check-out. The apartment is clean, spacious, and has everything you need to cook for yourself. I truly recommend this place!
