Nikolas! Great host! Went above and beyond expectations, professional and available to assist with anything you might require on your stay.

There is a hill to deal with but we opted for e-bikes from a local rental place with resolves the issue. On Kefalonia in general most people seem to hire some form of transport to get around. The buses work well for getting g from one area of the island to the other but they are infrequent.

Supermarket a few minutes walk down the hill. Lots of free parking in nearby streets. Turning the water heater on for 5 minutes or so gave enough hot water for showers, washing up etc for the day. Quiet for sleeping. Nicolas was friendly. Gave us home grown strawberries one day! Long wide double bed. Aircon effective. Well equipped room with bedside tables and lamps, electric points for charging phones etc. The terrace was nice to have breakfast or lunch on. Good view of the water and mountain.

We picked the apartment because the room specified that it had a washing machine. It didn't, although there was one on site. Some rooms had a washing machine. We were disappointed that we had paid what we thought was a reasonable price for an apartment with a machine. The room was cramped. The shower screen didn't prevent water escaping so the floor got very wet in the shower room. The kitchen area was a bit cramped but reasonably well equipped. No restaurants very near. A long way to the beach. You really need a car.
