I always enjoy Table View.

The property is not well maintained, not my kind of holiday home at all. The room we stayed had a terrible smell, like a wet smell. The pool was passable, not very clean. They had an annoying dog wondering around the property, "dogs are great, but not all kids love them, so my 2 younger grand girls were not happy. The bigger apartment didn't have gas for us to cook, so we had to use the smaller place to make breakfast, which was a disaster because we were 8 adults, and 2 kids. Ants are everywhere, but it can be controlled, it was on the property, it bit my grand daughter on her toes, while knocking on the door for us to open. Our stay was ok for the 2 nights, I am just glad i didn't book for the 11 days we were in CPT, I would very miserable.

Could do better. Just couldn't get a hotel downtown Cape town and ended up at anahata. Beds need an upgrade. Nothing at this place except to just spend a night.

The owner went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He lives on the premises so it was easy to get hold of him if there were any issues. The accommodation was clean and the living areas were spacious. There is a lovely pool to cool off in and probably their best feature. The accommodation has 3 bedrooms. 1 room with a double bed - no view at all and shares an en suite bathroom. The other 2 rooms have 2 single beds in each room. The en suite bathroom has a shower, the other 2 rooms share a bathroom which has a bath. The location of the accommodation was in a quiet street and within driving distance to Blouberg Beach. The doggo was an added bonus.

We had very hot weather and there was only 1 fan in one of the bedrooms which made it a bit uncomfortable. The softn furnishings and curtains need a bit of attention, and a bit of maintenance is required all round. If wanting to visit major attractions, it's quite a bit of a drive. If visiting in December, ask about the availability of cleaning and laundry services. This was advertised but due to staff shortages over this period, it was non-existent.
