Beachfront with balcony 1st Floor apartment "The Beaches"

The interior of the apartment was lovely, with everything being of good quality and all the little extras you might need were thought of. The view onto the beach/sea was beautiful and it was a bonus that we had bright skies (although cold winds) whilst we were there, which made for a much better outlook. Having a balcony when the weather is sunny will be a bonus to visitors staying in the summer months. Could not fault the apartment itself.

The positive of being on the sea front is also a negative as even at the end of Feb/beginning of March it was very noisy at night. Drunk/loud people coming out of the nearby bars and restaurants & also drivers who use the straight patch of road as a strip to speed along is not conducive of a good nights sleep. Friday and Saturday nights were the worst with people out enjoying themselves but still making noise in the streets at 2:30am. There are ear plugs provided which is thoughtful but unfortunately I cannot use them. As the apartment is all open plan and the bedroom area being open onto the lounge where all the windows to the beach/sea front are located there is no way of shutting the ‘bedroom door’ to help block out the night time noise which is a real shame as the apartment is beautifully done and as mentioned has beautiful views.

This isn't a 1 bedroom apartment because it isn't a separate bedroom. Slightly misleading.

It was so beautifully laid out with lovely decor. Clean and bright, just perfect . Location is excellent, especially for out of season stay, think it would be noisy in the summer months. Loved the court yard entry, felt secure. Comprehensive welcome pack with helpful information re property and surroundings. Nice to have coffee etc provided on arrival.Great views and friendly crows 😁

Frying smell from down stairs but only in the courtyard so not a real problem at this time of year with doors shut

Lights on staircase very low and when it comes on does not give you enough time to reach the landings and its dark during the day. Thank goodness for the torch that we found

Clean, bright, comfortable and all potential needs had been thought about.

Parking was a bit tricky but not impossible. I visited in October but I expect it’s super busy in the summer.

Breakfast non applicable as it was self catering. A balcony with a beach view…whats not to like? Outstanding attention to detail with the decor at the Beaches, plus every conceivable extra was there to make your stay perfect which included, kettle, toaster, oven, hob, fridge, microwave, dish washer, vacuum, milk, tea bags, coffee, sugar, biscuits, all cooking pots pans, cooking utensils, china and cutlery. Plus a brilliant shower. Close proximity to Tesco and M&S food hall plus an array of restaurants close by.
