Cape Cottages

It's a lovely setting- garden and pool. The best part....the beds and bed linen is glorious! Only had an overnight stay but couldn't have asked for more! Tourists must love it!

Beautifully presented, spacious, secure. The owners are delightful and communicate well. We would stay there again in a heart beat! Lots of lovely, thoughtful touches. All the linens, towels and amenities are of the highest quality

These are not “dislikes “ but 2 things worth noting 1. This cottage is not at all suitable for anyone with mobility issues 2. Load shedding ( scheduled power outages in South Africa) meant that the security gates for the parking area only open and close and certain times. This makes coming and going awkward.

I should have asked, but didn't think to until it was too late, but it would be nice to have a flat sheet available to sleep under for when it is hot

the property was exquisite and the rooms were lovely and the beds were extremely comfortable, the staff and owners were very friendly, the pool was lovely and the garden was beautiful

No everything was absolutely perfect and it was such an amazing stay

The towels were stained with rust marks. Staff was unfriendly.

Bergvliet is a great suburb to use as a base for a CapeTown stay. Quiet and peaceful with easy access to motorways shops and attractions. The Cape Cottages have single and double units with safe parking, separate access, braai and pool facilities, full DSTV satellite channels and really great hosts. I stayed in the upstairs double unit and there are views of mountains from the lounge, bedrooms and bathroom. There is nothing that I could fault with my stay.
