Large accessible apartment with elevator, large bedrooms and had a nice sauna. Room also had an ensuite washer and dryer (quite hard to find a place with a dryer in Norway). Plenty of space and great view.

Got a glass cut from a shard of glass in the bedroom. It would be nice to have some plastic cups for children. Bed was torn and the foam was exposed. Shower was very dirty and hair wasn't cleaned from the trap.

Great view and lucky to see the sunset. I was nervous about booking this apartment with the reviews I had read about it being dirty but we found the apartment was clean, bedding was clean and only slight dust on the bedside lamp. The photos are at the end of our stay The beds were both double and comfy so had a lovely sleep. The blind was still broken in the bedroom but it was fine as I like to sleep in the dark. One double has a ensuite and there is a toilet off the open plan dinning/living area. We only stayed one night and it gave us the location to explore Alesund, we had a take away from Jafs which was great and watch the boats come and go. In the morning we got coffee and cinnamon buns from Racoons Cafe and watched the people commute on the ferry.

Some instructions to use the sauna would be good You need another swivel chair to look out the window as 2 seats are fixed for the TV. Not sure what you do with the rubbish as the bin was tiny. There was no internet so couldn't watch any tv or even use our own Netflix! The tv was huge but luckily we had the view and only one night.

Views over the harbor were wonderful

Difficult to find even with precise GPS coordinates. Had to ask 3 different locals before finding No fans or air circulation....so it was hot at night
