Shabbat Apartments

The apartment is spacious, with two bedrooms and two toilets. The location is very convenient. There is a parking space. The beds and pillows are memory foam and very comfortable. The owner Gabriel is very responsive and ready to help.

No wine and liquor glasses.

Good location 10 min to Romanian Atheneum/ Calea Victoriei. Also 10 min to the palace of parliament in different direction. Fairly clean, Comfortable bed. Slippers by the door ( which was needed because they have cold tiles in the hall/kitchen), decent amount of space. FREE PARKING - in front (you can park in front of the big gate that says garage because that just has the dumpsters, not used for parking). If those are taken you can park on the neighboring streets , are also free parking as far as I can tell. STAFF - was pretty responsive, they ask for the expected arrival time, and that you call them when you get there, so they can open the apartment, and leave the key on the coffee table. I think whoever manages lives on-site or close by. They didn’t have laundry detergent for the washer, but when I asked, had their cleaning lady bring some by in a plastic cup the next morning. They did have drying rack, ironing board/iron.

OVERPRICED - we had a 60% “hot escape” deal from booking on top of level 2 genius discount, and I still think it was barely worth it. If we had paid full price it would be pure thievery. Given the almost 3 figure $ per night price with the discount, I would expect more attention to detail to compete with the other options in the area. NOISY neighborhood, seems to me the other apartments are also listed for rent, and it was very noisy until after 1 am. OTHER GUESTS DID NOT RESPECT QUIET HOURS could hear music, laughing, talking. My sister is a light sleeper and she could hear the washer in the other apartment. This apartment reminded me of a college guys apartment, that was converted into a temporary rental. For example : - Towels were not in the bathroom/on the bed, luckily found some in the bedroom closet. - Very light quilt on bed, but found comforter/ with duvet cover in closet. - Broken plastic towel hook by the bathtub was not replaced. - One of the hooks on the coat rack also broken/hanging sideways due to loose screw. - Mismatched utensils/chairs at the dining table. - had teakettle/coffee maker but no tea/coffee . Given the price it would be a nice perk to include coffee/tea. Washing machine was very noisy, had to put towel between sink/washer to prevent banging noise. No laundry detergent. Sofa covered by cheap felt “blanket” for lack of better term, to prevent stains. Pictures are either old or of another green apartment in the building. Odd mix of commercial/college apartment. Commercial soap/toilet paper dispensers in bathroom, but mop/broom in bathroom corner near the bidet. Overall ok- if you know what you’re getting, and have some sort of discount. But we were disappointed, we had a MUCH nicer apartment rental in Brasov, for less than than the discounted cost of this mediocre rental.

Christian amazing guy , extremely helpful fast and professional, looking forward to be back , I have no doubts that will stay again at Shanatt Apartments
