The apartment was simply nicely decorated, cozy, the kitchen was very well equipped

Very spacious apartment with plenty of bedding and equipment, crockery and cutlery in the kitchen (though only 3 very small teaspoons. More like ones you would use for boiled eggs). Apartment complex was quiet & very clean. The pool was lovely with plenty of loungers for the time we were there (end of May). The Apolónia supermarket was just around the corner with a superb café attached for a lovely coffee, breakfast or snack if you were too lazy to cook. There is an Aldi & another cheaper supermarket just a short taxi ride away. Galé beach was just a 5 minute walk away and there were a few good restaurants & cafés right beside it The Wifi was very good (for our needs anyway. Did not need to access any streaming services) & the TV was a Smart TV so I assume you could access any streaming service you want and there were a few English speaking channels available, which adequately covered our needs for the brief time we used it.

Upon arrival to the Palmeira we could not get in to the building as the code provided in our confirmation email didn't work. Luckily another guest was exiting at the same time so we were able to get in. When we contacted Antonieta, the code she gave us was completely different, but she did get back to us very promptly. Also the code for the pool access gate is completely different to the one given in the confirmation email. Again, Antonieta was quick to get back to us with the correct code but they need to sort this out Numbering of the floors is a bit confusing, as entry is on floor -1 and we were staying on 00 which was actually 1 floor up. To us here in Ireland this would be, entry on Ground floor 0, next floor up 1st floor or 1. It took us a while to figure this out and we spent a futile 15/20 minutes trying to get in to the wrong apartment. There were only 2 electrical sockets in the bedroom. Of which, 1 was being used by the air-conditioning. The other was on the wall opposite to the bed so we couldn't plug in the bed side light provided. When the overhead light was turned off we had to use torches to find the bed. Our 2nd last day there I did find a short extension lead in a drawer in the hallway dresser but this still didn't reach the bedside locker so wasn't of any use. Information on Booking.com website & our confirmation email mentions a pool bar. We could not see any pool bar, though there were workmen around and it looked like they may have been working on one.

Great location and very clean. Wifi was great and kitchen adequately equipped.

Arrived late at night so would have been good if there were outside lights on as it was difficult to see. Floor numbers on the wall at the top of the stairs would be beneficial as the numbering is a bit confusing starting at -1. The correct wifi password was not on the box so we had to ask about this but got a response relatively quickly with the correct password.

the view was really nice and the apartment was very spacious. it was also very clean.

the TV did not work properly. could not get cooker to work and no instructions left. lacking in basics such as bin bags, toilet tissue, hand wash however this was rectified upon speaking to host.

Really enjoyed my stay, will definitely repeat and recommend it to everyone who wants to spend a great holiday in portugal

Fantastic view from the wrap-around terrace. Quiet. Excellent location - minutes to a fabulous beach, next to superb supermarket, local pasteleria. Washing machine (travel light!). Rain shower. Very responsive host, easy to reach, some minor issues solved quickly.

Though purely personal, as it is a very good apartment: with some upmarket decoration and little touches (wine glasses, oil & vinegar, washing tablets, etc) this apartment could turn from very good to stunning.

The location is excellent! The apartment is fantastic and has all appliances you may need. Communication with the host was great. We arrived late, and the instructions Bedzy had sent would say, “go up one floor”. However, the apartment is on the same floor as the entrance. I messaged Antonieta, and she replied straightway with the correct information. By the way, Antonieta is the most kind host I've ever dealt with. She will do everything she can to help and answer any message within minutes. The apartment is 8 min walking distance to praia da Gale and 27 minutes to praia da Coelha. My favourite beaches in Albufeira. 5 min walking distance to Apolonia, the nearest supermarket. However, I would suggest only buying fruit there because they are excellent, but extremely expensive place to go shopping. There are Aldi and Lidl for a bigger shopping.

The apartment is excellent, and all, but the upstairs neighbours were either fighting or moving things during the night. We decided that all the noise wouldn't bother us and our great time. In addition, we didn't have wifi when we arrived. I messaged Antonieta, and she brought a router within minutes. However, the connection was extremely poor. We had our roaming working just fine, so we didn't bother. But if you can't use roaming and need a strong wifi connection, I would suggest to ask Bedzy or Antonieta for a more robust router.
