The host called us by FaceTime to help direct us to the property and talk us through the lockbox. It was very helpful.

Property was close to the beach (400m), had an oven and freezer which proved to be very useful during our stay. Shades of our windows were motorized.

First floor had no view to the ocean at all ( booking.com pictures suggested otherwise ). We had great views to a firewall in the backyard…Broom was old and of no use, we could not clean the apartment until we went to buy a new one….One of the doors could not be opened from the inside once shut and we got stuck. Automatic lights on the corridor very annoying! Walls very very thin, we could not sleep at all until the guests in the apartment above us went to sleeep and heard every noise from the street very loudly, as if the windows were left open…..And the worst of all: apartment smelled really really bad, especially the bathrooms, the doors always had to be shut, unless we could not even sleep because of the smell! Walls were dirty, cleaning or paonting them would be due! Apartment was also poorly equipped: we had to buy literally everything for our one-week stay: toilet paper, bin liners….
