It was spacious and well equipped.

Disappointed. There was no air conditioning and no key for the safe. It didn't have a wrap around balcony. The balcony was straight and facing one direction with a small recess to the left. The lights above the bed weren't working. We weren't able to get a picture on the TV. (However the mobile connection worked well.) The shower door was missing and had been replaced by a shower curtain that was too long and it had black mould at the bottom. When we arrived it took over an hour to get the apartment number, the access code to the gate and the access code to get the key. We were very hot and tired and this information could have been sent earlier. It took 18 messages in a text conversation to get €250 of the €300 damage deposit returned to us. There is still €50 of the €300 that hasn't been returned to us, despite Vincent saying that there had been no loss or damage to the apartment.

Location was fabulous. Great views as you are high up. Sunny terrace with comfortable sun loungers. Host was most helpful and friendly.

Location excellent. Swimming pool clean, easy to walk into Albufeira. Lots of restaurants, shops etc near apartment if you don’t want to go into town. On road parking available near property. We hired a car and explored beautiful coast.

Some electric sockets didn’t work, wiring on bedside lamp fixed with sellotape. Many electrical items plugged into extension lead (we move kettle into lounge as convinced it was overloaded). Fixtures and fittings all dated. Wardrobe had musty smell. Two single beds did not give greatest comfort. There is no air conditioning in the property. Shower had sliding door missing so shower curtain has been installed in its place but there is a leak from the back of the shower you had to mop up after use. Had difficulty getting into property. Had to message owner several times to eventually be given the codes to access the complex, the apartment number of the property, the location of the key press and finally the key press number - very frustrating after a long journey. Owner later arrived to collect €200 cash deposit, failed to meet us on departure to check/return deposit. Very difficult to contact and we are still chasing for this through booking.com. DO NOT STAY HERE book another apartment in this complex/area!!!!!

had an email from booking.com when we booked that the deposit was 200€. once arrived we were told to hand over 300€ which we did, i sent the screenshot of the email from booking.com to the host of the property and got told that we must have the wrong email-though it should be the host that takes this up with booking.com and correct it for future customers? the deposit is a large amount for the property, why not just charge it on the card we paid for the property like 90% of places do? it’s okay if you come from an EU country that uses the euro to get the deposit back, but if you’re from the UK what can you do with 300€ on your last day for a few hours? we paid over 400€ for the property, plus the deposit, to have the apartment with ants everywhere inside and outside, dirty cutlery, uncomfortable beds. they need to update the property in regards to having a reception, bar, snack bar. shop etc as it has none of these.

Very good location,close to both the old and new town. Clean apartment and Orlando who looks after the property could not have been more helpful.

The apartment was fully equipped to meet our family's needs. Including a hair dryer and a washing machine. It was very spacious with a large L shaped veranda, with amazing view of the old town and sea. The pool was clean and could always get a lounger with parasol, when needed. The owner is French and sent his charming daughter to translate with wife on our arrival - all very helpful. Communication was good throughout our stay.

The deposit amount was quite large at £300. However, had no trouble receiving this back on our last day. The apartment is situated on a hill and was difficult carrying shopping/water back from the local Spar each day, although not far away.

The apartment could do with air-conditioning. However the owner had 2 fans which were very helpful.
