Studio Bay View

Michael engaged with me two days before my depature over my inquiry on an arrangement I made with the property a month or so ago and sounded very welcoming. Michael and Andrea were willing to allow me drop off my laggage while I go to collect my Two Oceans Ultra Marathon race pack. I was an hour and 30min early to check in, Andrea welcomed me with a smile and gave me the keys to my room. She showed me everything I needed to know of from the main gate to my room. The place is very safe I peacefully slept as though I was at my own house. I met Michael on my way out to the CPT ICC and he engaged me in a friendly conversation on running, I mean e even showed me beautiful pictures of parts of the route I would be running. The couple gave me the warmest welcome when I came back from the race, they complemented me with so many words it was humbling, they are kind friendly, loving, caring and professional people. I would definitely book another stay with them when I go for a holiday in CPT. They are situated at the foot of table mountain which makes it easily accessible. The room is very clean, well designed and organized. There is basically all you need in the kitchen, there is an area to wash dishes with all you'd need, toilet /shower facility also has everything you need. I mean they have more than enough towels, hand towels even washing rags in case you forgot yours. I didn't have to ask for fresh towels as I had plenty. Toilet roll was also enough I didn't have to ask for more during my stay. There is even a laundry line to hang clothes on which is according to me exceptional. The room hs an asbestos heater mounted on the wall for cold nights and I was comfortably warm. They have a solar system for power failure and the WiFi works well even when the power is down. I really loved everything about the place it is worth the cost👌🏾💃🏾👏🏾🌸

Minor things really, to reset the multiple electric plug that connected the stove micro wave and kettle. I had to press on the red button everytime it switches off. Pillows were not firm enough for me but I supported them with a scutter cussion that was on the bed for firmness. Otherwise everything else was perfect 👌🏾.

The owners made this accommodation a very special place with their kindness and warmth. I felt very welcome right away and i recommend the accommodation to everyone. It is a very clean and beautiful studio with a great equipment! The studio is very lovely decorated and furnished - with lots of love for details. The environment is quiet and peaceful and still very close to cape town CBD.

Andrea was very helpful and the whole set up was great. She waited up to show me the unit even though flight quite late. And she'd got a bottle of mineral water in the fridge. Great views from property.

Tiny thing, but would've been nice to have some milk to go with coffee in the morning.

The venue was clean ,quite and very central. gardens are beautiful. bathroom's shower was fantastic No issues with load shedding as they have backup power.

Very helpful and accommodating hosts who provided much useful information about the area. Good location a little out of town but nice and quiet in the evening as a result and with easy access to Table Mountain.

Nothing really. The roads up to the property were a little steep, but you can get around town very adorably via Uber so this wasn't really a problem.
