Gigi's Place

Location was very accessible and central. We didn't experience the noise that other reviews complained about.

Beds were uncomfortable because mattresses were thin and on slats. Roo m s were on multiple levels. A shared bathroom on top floor and a raised toilet on first in the laundry room. There wasn't a level floor in the whole place and it was cramp

The place was so clean and perfect for families.

A little pot of milk to make a cuppa in the morning. Bring ear plugs as it’s really noisy at night time.

Space, location

very nice and very clean

The location is pretty much perfect (though this type of central location does have downsides). This resort, like many, is a nightmare for people with no sense of direction but no matter which way you walk through the centre you seem to end up about 10 yards from this place. The lounge is very comfy. Overall, given the time of year, the price was very reasonable. There isn't anywhere to sit an eat other than the dining area which is semi-outside (in that there is a cover). This is nice in good weather but otherwise it would be a question of having a plate on your lap in the living room.

Things that could potentially be improved: - the kitchen is tiny so having a small fridge (with a freezer box) would make more sense than the huge fridge freezer, which will also drain a lot of electricity, - instructions on how to connect to the internet (though it's not hard!), - some shaving from two of bedroom doors as they wouldn't close fully, - more places to hang clothes. The rooms are all a decent size, as is the main bathroom. One thing to be aware of if the noise at night and in th early morning (with early deliveries / collections). It may be a tiny bit better with different windows but this is just a consequence of the central location, so some earplugs would help to deaden this sound if you don't want more sleep!

The property was a good size to accommodate the group that was there, it had facilities to wash and multiple toilets. Overall generally clean. Close to the beach

The noise at night (Friday and Saturday) teenagers screaming and fights outside between 11pm and 4am. Low ceilings in certain areas, hit my head a few times. Beds could do with an upgrade. A few window panes were broken and replaced with plastic cover, only window that opened was upstairs and there was a mustiness smell in the apartment.

Plenty of space, all newly done (I guess), we only slept here so the kitchen and laundry facilities were untested. Felt more like a real holiday (including creaky floorboards!) than a bland international style hotel. Good fun,

Sleeping above a popular tourist area was noisier than our out of the way home. Some less able people might find the stairs a bit much.

Great location 2 mins from beach, very clean

Apartment floors are uneven, cheap beds and incredibly noisy in the night.
