Nice apartment in a good location, handy for the beach and restaurants.

A little noisy in the front room with the rock bar below. Pool area could do with a little work.

we received information that we would be met at the property between 11.00pm and 1.00am, we arrived at 11.55pm but ni-one around. Had to go through emails to get a number to contact for access, thankfully the 2nd mobile number was answered and we got the keys 30 minutes later but pre-information would have prevented our anxiety especially so late at night.

It was clean and had Everything we needed even spices for the food

Excellent accommodation, had lots of extra touches which made the stay enjoyable, like brilliant coffee machine, designated sun loungers (with pads) by the communal pool, fantastic bbq in large private patio/garden, some beach toys/inflatables. The aircon is very efficient and perfect for those super hot evenings.The accommodation was spotlessly clean and we had one linen/towel change over the 2 weeks but there is a washer for in between. We liked that the cupboard basics left over by the previous occupants (olive oil salt pepper coffee etc). The management company were really helpful with other enquiries and always on hand. The accommodation was located very close to a massive selection of bars and restaurants. You must visit the bakery next door, it has the best selection of cakes and lovely bread rolls. We even got a birthday cake ordered (black forest) which was superb.The boardwalk, aldo seco and beaches should not be missed. The beaches are lovely but can get busy in peak summer, but we always found a place. Carvoeiro had free music entertainment in our first week by the beach which was good. A massive supermarket was a 25 minute walk away (or 2 min taxi ride) and we got a taxi ordered by the reception after we had got our shopping back to the accommodation. Buses are expensive for more than 1 person so we used uber which has really good service in the area.

This is not a reflection on the fabulous accommodation but there is a bar directly below that disturbed the lighter sleepers some evenings. The communal pool has a number of broken /missing tiles in the shallow end which could cause injury.

very close to everything. everything you need is at the apartment pool area is lovely I would highly recommend

we did see a cockroach in the kitchen one night I’m not sure if they are a problem in Portugal but it was only one night and we never saw anymore
