Oakville Apartments

Brilliant! Excellent location; about 10 minutes walk to Blackpool Tower., less to North Pier. Host greeted us, helped us up to the room, explained everything. It was much appreciated that we were presented with 2 sets of keys; it is nice to be able to split up and know there is no problem popping back to the apartmrnt anytime. Always on hand to answer questions, just so helpfil and pleasant! Apartments have a lift which is amazing. Our studio apartmentt had a view of Blackpool Tower which was an unexpected treat. Car parking was simple and easy. Apartment spotlessly clean. Electricity meter had credit on it on arrival and I only put a couple of pounds in and that left plenty for the next person. There was a microwave, fridge and full 4 ring cooker in the apaetment, along with a table and chairs to eat at, 2 easy chairs, ample drawers and hanging space and TV (which we never switched on). Large radiator that came on each evening umtil late, which was seperate to the electric wall heater we could have on whenever we wanted as it was run off the meter in the room.....total bliss! I would definitely stay there again!

This is ideally located for a walk into town and local shops. It is very clean. Being able to self cater is a bonus.

Basin in shower room needed the pop up plug fixing. Would benefit from a shelf in the shower room and some additional coat hooks.

Location the apartments had a lift brilliant facility. Had access to ironing facilities and vacuum on every landing.Very a very pleasant host,no extra charge for parking, and well thought out apartments for needed equipment.Soap and shampoo dispensers in shower great idea and also above sink. Would stay again..

It was perfectly place 5 minutes from town center it was well spacious quiet at night just helped us unwind staff were brilliant and lovely couldn't fault them 100% stay here again the view we was amazing as we could look out of our window and watch the tower changing colours

Noise from next building during night.. Mental health building.

Bright room on top -3rd floor with windows that opened. Lift available if required and iron and board on each floor. Room was very clean. Although we didn't really use it the kitchen seemed fairly well equipped and had a full size oven as well as a microwave. Free parking on site. 10 min walk to Winter Gardens. There is a communal lounge which would be useful if you had children as there were some arcade type games. Although it was full and there were lots of children it was quiet (apart from the seagulls)

Having to remember to switch the water heater on a while before taking a shower. You do have to put pound coins in the electricity meter but we only put 1 in during the 2 nights there. Luckily I brought towels as they were not mentioned in the description although they do have a few apparently, if you don't bring any. There were some "interesting " characters in the immediate area but we did not have any problems.
