Coastal Studio

Large one room cottage close to beach. Kitchenette was perfectly functional. Dog-friendly touches. Bathroom, while "funky" in design, was perfectly functional. Cute to see the pet chickens, ducks, and peacocks!

Creaky bed that's seen its better days. Overall the cottage could use a small remodel to bring in more lighting and more functional use of the large space.

The host provided most amenities that you could think of. Extremely dog friendly. Enjoyed having chickens, geese and ducks to watch. The host responded immediately to queries. Also appreciated the signs directing us to the driveway and parking, would have struggled otherwise.

Took a little while to figure out the lighting, heating and plumbing. Bathroom and shower arrangement was a little quirky but was probably a limitation of the building.

Quiet & relaxing

Wow, what a wonderful cozy not so small studio. We loved it there as it was a very quiet spot off the street, yet very very close to all you could need. The Host was above and beyond on her availability when I had a question. And even after was there for us. I had a question on where to go eat and she had great suggestions. Her husband, we met on the property later. He is a wonderful person, great to talk to. I could write a book, sort of, but won't. I'll just say, if you are single, or a couple, this place is worth it! Guys, this is a gem of a place. Book it and enjoy it. Oh, and they have a leash, dog bowls, and even treats for your four legged friends.

The weather. But, that's nothing the Host could control. Seriously, we couldn't and weren't looking for anything negative. Okay, I guess it doesn't like short answers, but if there is nothing we didn't like, then a short answer should suffice.

I liked that the location was right in town in a very quiet little neighborhood. We called the hosts once that evening for something and they answered the phone immediately. Very friendly hosts. The TV was easy to use and the kitchenette had everything we needed. I appreciated that.

There was a strong mildew smell the second we opened the door to the studio. We opened all the windows for hours, turned on the heat, and made popcorn. That helped, but I still needed to take an antihistamine allergy pill, which is uncommon for me to have to do. Addressing the mildew issue would be a HUGE improvement. Otherwise, it was a comfortable place.

I loved the yard and the cute ducks that came out during the day! The convenience of how close it was to town as well as the beach was amazing.

No complaints! I was little too short to see myself completely in the mirror, so if I had to suggest anything it would maybe be a full length mirror somewhere in the apartment!

I loved how it was dog-friendly. They had everything a family would need. And the coffee maker was super easy, and they provided plenty of good coffee!
