Bucharest Central Apartment Inter

Very centrally positioned. In 2 min walking, you can arrive at the Metro station Universitate. In 4 minutes of walking, you are already in Old Town or on Victoriei Street. The location is quiet although central. You find small stores, pharmacies, etc. around. Inside, it has everything you need to live there. Everything! 2 TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime, AC. The hosts are very nice. You self-check-in, the keys are in a safety box outside the apartment building. Some people said that the elevator was "unsafe", but trust me, it's a very good and safe elevator, perfectly functional, that's a typical elevator in old buildings in Bucharest. You just need to get used to it.

It was very cozy and had that french luxurious touch to the design. I appreciate the closeness to the city center and the friendly stuff with whom I was able to comunicate easily. Another important aspect that people tend to forget about when looking for an accommodation is the bed’s comfiness, which in this case was top notch. I liked that the bath was equipped with different kinds of self care supplies for both men and women. I think they even had options for babies. The place literally had everything you would need.

The only thing negative that I can point out would be the fact that the apartment was on the 8th floor, so if you are staying for a longer period of time that can become a little annoying.

Great place overall. Nicely furnished and well situated, very nice host, all you need !

The road can be noisy and the water pressure in the shower quite random.

Big Apartment near the Old Town. Owner answers very fast on question. Infos for key etc were easy to manage.

Parking space infront of the building are for free but not easy to get. Therevis actual a cheap public parking Garage very close

The location is exactly in the city centre, but also hidden from the noisy bulevard. Fancy interior design

I was extremely disappointed because the heat wasn’t working at the maximum level in winter period and even more uncomfortable there was no pressure on the water in the bath; the water did not flow with pressure in the shower, and I had to wait a long time for hot water; the shower experience was completely unpleasant. The water in the bathroom sink flowed without pressure, and there was no hot water.

The location of this apartment is amazing! The block of flats is old, but it is well-kept and it gives you a classy, old-fashioned sense of living. The flat is located on the top floor and it gives you a bird's eye view, which is great! The flat is equiped with a small and bigger fridge, as well as a comfortable bed. The furniture is in great condition and there were cutlery in the cupboard. The flat is spacious for two people. It also has a mini-balcony, which is a great feat for any smoker :-D

The instructions for picking up the key for the flat are outdated and it was confusing for about 15 minutes, but the host was quick to reply to my questions on whatsapp and I managed to find out the way of entering the block of flats. The heating in the flat was not working for the duration of my stay, as I rented this flat for a couple of nights in the winter. The flat has a central-heating system, which means that the flat is only heated if you have luck :-D The floor is not heated and there were no slippers, which meant that the stay was slightly uncomfortable; especially for my girlfriend. There is an AC in this flat, but its heating capacity is nowhere near what is required to quickly heat up the flat, let alone keep it at a higher temperature than 20 C. Lastly, when I started mentioning the difficulties I had with the heating system, the owner or whoever was replying to my texts on whatsapp - started coming up with excuses for the above-mentioned, instead of offering me solutions for myself and my girlfriend to heat up the flat. Having said that, you will find that locals in Bucharest can be rather arrogant and dismissive towards constructive criticism; a certain trait that a tourist will often find when visiting the capital of Romania.

The incredibly helpful person dropped off an adapter for our electronics which we,d forgotten to pack! My husband is a diabetic so this meant he could read his bloods. A special thanks. The rooms were lovely.

The shower pressure is non existent!
