One Love Terrace Apartment

Very helpful host, lovely apartment!

Bathroom - The bathroom sink was extremely clogged, it was unusable. We had to use the sink in the kitchen area for our whole stay. There is no place to hang your towel in there when taking a shower. Radiator on the wall was very dusty and dirty, so you couldn’t even hang your towel there. No personal hand towels provided. Only one hanging in the kitchen area. Kitchen - Only one socket in the kitchen area, that was broken. We had to use the kettle on the floor in front of the TV. Mugs were dirty. When I wanted to wash them, of course, there was no sponge available for use. There was dish soap but no sponge. The kitchen counter was NOT cleaned. There was an onion peel, bread crumbs and different kinds of spills that had dried up on the counter top, some of them were sticky. Bedroom - The bedroom area was okay. The bedsheets smelled fresh, so I guess that was the only thing that was washed before we visited. Parking - In the description of this accommodation on booking.com it says that there is free public parking available. THAT IS A LIE! There is no free public parking in the area. When we arrived, we parked on the street of the accommodation. When we asked our host, Madalina, if it’s free to park on that street, she said that she’s not sure, but advised us anyways to leave our car there. She also suggested to park on some of the neighbouring streets and assured us that we can park there for free. We spoke to a few locals (3-4 different people on different occasions) and it turned out that neither of those streets allow public parking for non-residents. And the locals also told us that many hosts in the area tell tourists it’s allowed to park there, but it’s actually not. We moved the car to a public street parking area, that was a 10 min walk from the accommodation and it was also paid. That wasn’t an issue for us. But the host should inform her guests about that. Besides that we had a great time in Bucharest.

We waited a bit while the host told us how to access the keys. The room was not very clean, there were bugs on the floor and when we opened the window the only air that entered was smelly and awful.
